"My husband and I were traveling from the Great Sand Dunes to Rocky Mountain National Park and decided to stop at Blackhawk for one night. We booked the club lounge king room. There was a line at check in but moved fast, check in was smooth and easy, Rafella was very nice and friendly and she showed us the elevator system. The elevators were confusing at first but found it very clever and made me feel safe as a guest at the hotel. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The club lounge dinner food was good and the selection was fine, mostly light snacks. They served fruit, cheese, cured meats, crackers and chicken tenders. The dinner at the Chophouse was great. We had some the bison tenderloin and beef prime rib and black truffle gratin. Ended the dinner with strawberry gelato prepared at the table. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. Continental breakfast at the lounge was good. Peaked into the pool and fitness area in the top floor. Both were clean "

"I loved the homey vibe of this hotel! The location is perfect and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I also highly recommend the $5 breakfast it’s a total steal. However, my stay wasn't perfect. The outdoor pool was under renovation, and the bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been (we found hair on the walls and in the drain). If they can fix the cleaning issues, this would be a 5-star stay!"

"The room was clean. Its a property that you can park your car right outside your room. They were paving the driveway at 7 am & woke us up. The hotel never told us there was going to be construction, so that was frustrating. "
