"What an absolutely beautiful home to stay in! We booked the deluxe double room and were so surprised by the size! It had so much space which made for a lovely stay for my husband and I's 10 year anniversary. There was so much character in the home as well which made for such a unique place to spend the weekend. It was also great to be within walking distance of Rizzo's House of Parm and the Ridgeway shops. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for such a great stay!"

Top Southwestern Ontario Hotel Reviews

Spencer Hotel and Conference Centre

10/10 Excellent

"Closed to Western U. Highly recommended!"

Hard Rock Hotel London Ontario

8/10 Good

"Our first impressions of the hotel were excellent. It is part of an old factory, all of which has been renovated and turned into part hotel, part shopping and part community center. The entire hotel is immaculate. It's brand-new and it shows. A lot of retro decor, drawn from the era of vinyl records. Glitz everywhere, but not tacky. At check-in, a lady who works in one of the hotel's shops approached us and asked if we'd like a record player and vinyl records to play on it. Apparently they loan these to all of the hotel's guests. She said they have records that span the entire range of music. We didn't have time to take her up on her offer, but it was a nice and tempting touch. The staff are cheerful and most helpful. We didn't need much during our stay, but there were no issues with anything we asked for. The rooms are clean and, from the pictures I saw, every one has unique decor, all based on the vinyl record theme. Only one negative (and this is personal): The entire hotel, lobby, hallways and rooms are filled with a strong scent. Both of us are sensitive to scents, so that was a problem. The scent was exceptionally strong at the front desk. It was difficult to sleep, I kept waking up during the night. It took us a couple of days to feel reasonably normal after we left. We asked about the scent at the front desk and were told that this is hotel policy. They disperse the scent into the ventilation system. Be forewarned if this is an issue for you."

Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel

8/10 Good

"This property is in a very good location in Windsor. It is right on the waterfront (great for walking and watching the ships) and very close to downtown. There is lots of parking (in the garage across the street) and the staff are consistently pleasant, professional and helpful. Some of the rooms could use some updates, especially the bathrooms but it is cleaned and well maintained."

Visitors Inn

8/10 Good

"The staff were wonderful and helpful. I was a single traveller, female, and never felt unsafe or without help. The restaurant at the hotel is also great. I highly recommend the jerk chicken. Clean, nice hotel, close to McMaster if that's what you're after (I was) and good value. I didn't use the pool, nor the hot tub, but they looked great. The hotel is a bit dated (could use new furniture in the lobby) but it was otherwise great."
