Great house for a large group and our dog. House was gated, which made it feel safe and nice yard for the dog to be in. The weather didn’t cooperate for swimming, but it was a beautiful lake.
A relaxing couple of days with everything needed to host a large group. The posting for this home doesn’t do it justice- it’s better in person. We will return!
Our group of 12 guys had an incredible time at this property while on our golf trip. The lake is beautiful, the owners are very responsive, and it makes for an amazing summer vacation for anyone I can imagine!
We rented this house for 11 of us and there was room to spare! The kitchen was pretty well stocked for cooking and baking, there were two refrigerators (a second oven would have been ideal), beautiful views, right on the lake and a big open living and dining room. It was perfect!
We had a great time enjoying the beauty, sitting by the fire, and playing on the water. We loved the easy access to the water toys including life jackets. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive to any extra needs. Our kids had a blast and so did the adults!!
This amazing house was everything we could have asked for. The lake was perfect and the dock and house was everything that we wanted for our stay. Thank you!
This place was exactly what we wanted for a Labor Day Weekend trip with friends! We had 12 people and a dog in our party. The house and yard are spacious, the space was clean, both on and off site people were nice & quick to communicate. Beautiful view off the lake. Would definitely recommend to anybody for a larger gathering trip!
Beautiful property with lots of room. Owners and onsite managers were very responsive. House was well equipped and exceptionally sound proof (youngsters could play board games and have fun downstairs while others slept upstairs without being disturbed.)
Spectacular view...Totally unmatched. Added amenities like paddle boat and kayaks were great...kids loved them. Having on-site care-takers available to address minor issues upon arrival was greatly appreciated.
Kayaks and paddle board were used a ton. Bummed the pedal boat had a mishap.
Property managers were very prompt, friendly, and courteous!! So friendly.
View was beautiful as you could see Mt Ranier from the dock!
Only item of comment was description of ac. As we are from midwest, are accustomed to central ac. The units took some catching up at times but worked, overall a great stay.
The moment you walk into the home, you are immediately greeted by the beautiful view of Spanaway Lake with these gorgeous windows. Everything is clean, well thought out for both indoor and outdoor activities and you instantly feel like home. The open space of the kitchen, family room, loft, and outdoor deck made everyone at our retreat feel connected and together. The instructions were clear, easy to follow and great organization. The onsite property maintenance team were kind and patient (especially when we were figuring out parking at different times). Overall, we were grateful to find this location and will be back again.
Perfect family getaway! The hosts Ben and Laura are responsive and great to work with. My daughter loved fishing on the dock and paddle boating around the lake. We stayed here a couple of years ago when there was different ownership. Back then it was sad as the house did not look or feel well maintained. I’m glad the house has moved on to people who care and we could really see and feel the difference as the home is now gorgeous. Also, the property manager is great and we enjoyed their friendly welcome and conversations. Thanks again for sharing your home and we will definitely be back!

Place with great potential, some upgrades would be welcome change
Fantastic location. Convenient, next to the lake with easy access to fishing and paddling.
Unfortunately. The entire house is a little dated, old carpet noted. Dog dander at the base of the bed. Kitchen utensils were, spartan at best, though enough plates and cups, the spatula( only one) for cooking was a disheartening show. Some chairs are needing replacements, a $50 maintenance would make the outdoor grill state of the art. Fair price but wish that the unit would be better updated
Every year, my family and two other families take a week long trip to a new lake house. Two years ago we stayed at this place, and we couldn’t wait to go back! It is the perfect lake house and there is more space than you can imagine! The view of the mountain is breath taking. The home was well stocked with everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. We love getting to use the water toys, playing corn hole and lounging by the gas fire each night. The house was clean and cozy. I will say that the air conditioning units were very much appreciated too. Last time we stayed (different ownership) we were roasting in the house. Game changer for sure! We will certainly be back, as you can’t stay at a better location on the lake!
Omg where do I start? First thing youll see when you opn the door is that beautiful lake view, absolutely beautiful. The owners were GREAT infact he reached to me if I am still interested bebecause I forgot to pay lol. They were lovely we booked this place because all halls were close and i couldnt find a place for my son's first birthday so we did it here and i told them and they were okay with. Basically what I am saying they are very considerate qnd understanding people. The house! I swear the photos due no justice its breathtaking! The kids played downstairs and adults stayed upstairs. Plenty of room and BEDS! Loft space has a twin and a full bed. Main floor master bedroom and another room with a main bathroom floor. Basement has 2 bedrooms and 2 twins. This place is awesome! Only bad thing is i should of booked for one more day. The morning view wuth coffee was just right. I hope my review helps you decide that this is the place to go. The people on site were great as well. ❤️
Awesome, awesome property!
First of all, the location is PERFECT! Central to everything in the region you would want to do. First day in the city. Second day on Mt Rainier. Third day at the beach and Olympic National Park. Fourth day on the lake! We could’ve stayed longer and taken in championship golf courses. So much to do up there!
The 4th of July celebration on the lake is a life-long memory. We could see fireworks all around the lake - and right at twilight with the view of MT Rainier! Unbelievable!
The location on the lake is perfect, as well. Such a peaceful view of the mountain! And everything you might need to enhance your stay is available close by in Spanaway.
The house is set up for whatever you may need. Ours was a family gathering - our adult kids are spread around the country so we don’t get together often. This house was perfect (I keep using that word intentionally) for our needs. Big kitchen to cook. A grill so you can cook outside if you want. A bar to mix drinks. Sitting areas on the patio or inside for games, discussion, or just chilling out at the end of a 7 hour hike!
What a fantastic weekend in the perfect house!! We will be back!!!

Mostly Good
The home is beautiful and in a beautiful location. So nice to be able to use the kayaks and paddle board, with plenty of life jackets. Beds were comfortable. Would have been nice to have more furniture in the bedrooms than just one nightstand. Another nightstand and a dresser or bookshelf to store clothes and unpack suitcase would have been appreciated. Didn't appreciate the property manager's aggressive manner about parking the first night. We were rushed to attend our son's wedding rehearsal, and inadvertantly parked where the manager's big dually truck takes up three spaces. We parked "in his spot" and then left with the keys so the guests still back at the house had to deal with his aggressive manner that the vehicle had to be moved immediately. Our guest had to call us during the rehearsal dinner to find out what to do. I would have hoped with the amount of money we spent to stay for three nights, the dually guy could have been more understanding that he would have to wait until we got back to move the vehicle. The instructions on where to park are in the white binder on the coffee table, which we didn't have time to review in our rush to get to the house, and then off to the rehearsal. Other than lack of furniture, not enough towels in the bathrooms (they were upstairs in a hall closet), and the parking issue, it was a good place and gorgeous location!
The home, property and access to the lake were all stellar and so well kept. From arrival to check-out, we had everything we needed, had plenty of space to spread out and explore, and waking up to a view of the water set us up for a few terrific days.
