S Hotel Kingston

S Hotel Kingston

8/10 Good
"My disclaimer. I am from Kingston JAMAICA so I may be a little bias as it relates to my review. I have been going to this hotel at keast once every year since 2014 for the following reasons. 1. The breakfast, I thought to eat a healthy first meal. 2. Quiet surrounding, oh hiw I love my me time there. 3. The Staff, very professional and friendly, very rare you find those two characteristics in an hotel staff. 4. Security, as an retired military person, this hotel is almost as secure as a soldier's camp and yet it doesn't feel that way, but it there. De Panta yard youth and soon returning resident."

"The Operation Manager spoke to me as if I was begging - she didn’t take into consideration my Expedia status. I felt belittled. She gave me the update but the tone was not the best. I booked a balcony room which was not available when I checked it as such a suite was given. The overall experience was not good. The WiFi was not upgraded had to called twice etc. I don’t feel welcome"

"As a Hospitality Operator at a Forbes Five-Star hotel, I notice the details—and this property exceeded my expectations. When we had a reservation issue, the General Manager and front desk team delivered outstanding guest recovery that immediately set the tone. Chef Kadian deserves a standing ovation. Every breakfast was authentic, fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable. It didn’t just meet expectations—it exceeded them. Demar, our server, made every meal even better with his warm, genuine hospitality. A special thank you to our housekeeper (I wish I remembered her name) for maintaining our room to impeccable, Forbes-level cleanliness, and to the bar-back for his friendly service and positive attitude. As members of the Jamaican diaspora, this stay felt like coming home. The warmth, professionalism, and authenticity of the entire team made our trip truly memorable. Great hotels have beautiful rooms; exceptional hotels have people who genuinely care. This property is exceptional, and we’ll absolutely be back. 🇯🇲⭐️"
