"Beautiful location. Beautiful hotel in need of renovation. Very good breakfast with lots of variety. Amazing staff especially Daniela. Bathrooms incredibly small. No counters to place anything. Smallest shower space of any hotel we have ever stayed at. Also so close to the beach and they don’t offer beach towels to guests (even for a fee or deposit). Very poor customer service that way for international travelers who cant pack beach towels."

"Before booking this hotel we were a bit unsure because of the location. But it was the best experience to stay in an authentic little willage! Everything was perfect: lovely and helpful reception ladies, restaurant and staff were great, good selection of breakfast, very clean room with everything you need. We didn't get the room which was shown before booking but it was very similar. Mini fridge was packed with lots of drinks and snacks. Windows has a net from bugs and insects. We had dinner at a local pizzeria. The pizzas and desserts were absolutely delicious, and the prices were very low. (€5-10 for pizzas, €2.5 for beer and €4 big glass of Aperol Spritz). The owner was incredibly friendly—he treated the children to sweets and offered us some limoncello. The people dining at the next table also shared their homemade lemon doughnuts with us, and they were absolutely amazing. We took a walk around the village, which was bustling with people. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we felt safe throughout our visit. The only minus - hotel doesn't have a pool. But it's only about a 20-minute drive from Sapri. Must visit Maratea Skywalk Terrace and the Christ the Redeemer Statue."

"Jonfranco is a most lovely guy - very energetic and kind. This location is very convenient to Sapri center. He is diligently working to 'finish up' a lot of remodeling so it feels a little, unfinished in ways, but twas still adequate for the price. Two key things are that the bed/mattress and AC are GREAT. Plus in some units there is a stove and terrific refrigerator which is most helpful in the Italian summer heat. Oh, also, if you have a vehicle there is parking ON property which is also quite helpful."

"The whole place oozed old world understated luxury, the staff were very helpful and extremely polite. The private beach was lovely, never busy (in June), and if you don't like small pebbles you can chose the decking section by the swimming pier. Would go again in an instant."
