Great location in Spiez. It’s about a 7 min walk from the train station. This is a small hotel with basic rooms. I would recommend staying in a lake view room. The “comfort” room I stayed in faced the street which can be loud. Fortunately, the windows really help block the outside noise. This hotel does not have AC so I wouldn’t recommend staying here during the warm weather months. The terrace has a great view of the lake and it was nice to have breakfast there. FYI, there’s a shared small fridge in the hallway.

Very cute hotel. We picked a room with a view. Totally worth it. Check in was great, given tons of information for the surrounding areas. Close to the train station. Little Greek restaurant which is 2 doors down was fantastic.

I loved this stay because it has an amazing view of the lake and mountains and because it felt like home! Positives: comfortable beds, spacious, kitchen and laundry available, cute decor, great breakfast, helpful staff. Staff recommendations to eat at Restaurant Krone was right on! We took advantage of the Thun area card at the Oberhofen castle, boating on Lake Thun, and visiting StBeatus Cave & waterfall, and Panoramabrücke in Sigriswil. Negative: for us, nothing! Some people may not like climbing stairs to their room but that’s why it has a great view.

The lady working there was very busy, but still very welcoming and friendly, she gave me a free drink on arrival and offered me a bottle of water on departure, and the room was cosy and comfortable. And the view from the balcony really was incredible - they're not lying when they say they have the best view in Spiez!
