The property itself was cleaned regularly, and a pleasure to walk inside. It’s the outside that could use some refreshing. One step off of the manicured entry stairs, were broken concrete slabs and tiles, to “watch your step” dark and dreary walls that could use a pressure washing, and brighter lighting.

We stayed here two time while we were in Athens, when we first arrived and a day before we were leaving. Both of our stays were perfect! We stayed in different rooms each time and both times they were clean, spacious, and well maintained. Staff were also amazing! We have seen lots of staff rotate as they have a small desk when you walk in and they have different shifts and every single person has been amazing! Not to mention that we are within walking distance to literally everything! I did see a comment about noise on here and I will say that we are by Monastiraki square and many late night restaurants so yes you might hear street noise ( depending on the room you get) but to me that is to be expected since we are right by one of the busiest parts of Athens so I knew that going into it but it really isn’t all that bad. Thank you Lotus enter inn we will be back! :)

We had a fantastic stay at the Marathon Beach Resort! What truly set this experience apart was the incredible level of personal attention we received from the team. Highlights of our stay: • Going the Extra Mile: Even though the hotel wasn't officially serving dinner to other guests at the time, the owner went out of his way to ensure we felt valued by organizing a special meal just for us. • Delicious Vegetarian Options: As vegetarians, we were thrilled when Fatos at the restaurant welcomed us so warmly and prepared a beautiful, authentic Greek vegetarian feast for our whole family. • Family-Friendly Touch: They were so kind to our little one; Fatos even treated them to some jelly, which made our child's evening!

The Residence is a very nice and comfortable hotel in a great location. Despite the activity in the neighborhood especially at night it’s on a quiet side street. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a very nice spa with affordable prices and a nice rooftop. The only negative was having only a tub and no shower.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent.
