Charming and cozy log cabin in the mountains.

"The cabin was very cute and the view was beautiful. Unfortunately the curtains in the French Doors could not be raised only slanted so your view was through slats. The owner was aware of this.Had a few more problems including the toilet but after a few conversations the owner had it fixed. The location was excellent for exploring the area. Had some great hikes and enjoyed the fishing close by."

"We stayed 1 night at the Basecamp with our 3 young daughters and had an absolutely amazing experience. Lesile was amazing and so welcoming; she will go above and beyond to make you feel at home and make sure you get everything you need. The place is peaceful, the view is stunning, and the breakfast was amazing. We were not sure if the tents would be a good fit for our girls, but they loved it. Can't wait to be back."

"Great little place to get away. It’s about 25 minutes to the south end of the reservoir and 35 minutes away from the north marina. The roads leading up to the house can be a bit bumpy so be prepared for that but really nice place to get away."

"Location was great for our hiking trip. Didn’t spend much time at the hotel other than to sleep. They had breakfast available but I didn’t know about it until we were checking out. Rooms were clean, front desk staff was friendly and helpful."

"This is a very family friendly place to stay. We had 3 couples, with plenty of room, so we could enjoy each others company or quiet time. We spent many hours around the dining table playing games and talking. The views are wonderful and make sure you clean and refill the hummingbird feeders. They are very fun to watch! This is our second time staying, for a family gathering, and hope to come back next year!"

"This cabin is very nice and comfortable. You encounter wildlife pretty much every day. Even had a bear visit one night. My only complaint would be the weather. As with most homes / cabins in the Rockies it is not air conditioned. It’s been a very hot summer and got pretty warm in the cabin. Do yourself a favor and bring a few box fans to put in the windows. Overall excellent stay. The night sky on the deck is amazing. You’re far enough away from town to feel the wilderness and close enough to go out to eat dinner. Highly recommend"
