"First and foremost hosts were extremely hospitable, kept to themselves didn't even know they were there unless we needed something, they would appear and offer anything we needed at the right time. "The house was in great condition when we arrived and check-in was super easy. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was great - we enjoyed being on the water and it was a quick drive to the store and local restaurants. We’ll definitely be back!"

"At the last minute, I was unable to go on the trip. My husband tried to check in to the hotel with my name and confirmation number and they would not let him check in. The reservation was already paid for except for taxes. I understand their policy but they would not accept any of my information over the phone for him to check in. They kept telling me to get Hotels.com to call them to confirm information. This is where I had trouble because there is not a way to contact anyone at Hotels.com without a virtual assistant that can only do the basic information. So I had to forfeit my room and my husband still supported the hotel and had to book a different room at the same price just to have a place to stay. I have always chosen Hotels.com before any other booking company. I just don't understand why it had to be so difficult and lose my money because there are other ways to go about this. Update- Hotels.com made good on their end. They immediately refunded me after I submitted a review to them. I appreciate everyone that made this possible."
