The stay was good! Great location! There were 2 two person kayaks, 1 one person kayak and 2 paddleboards. We saw 6 manatee out on the river, so that was cool! The AC worked very well, and the house had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Farmhouse on the River

Our family enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and little welcome amenities came in handy. The house was very clean and the layout was perfect for a party of 6. Several family games were available for when it rained and it was a short paddle to the main river. The host was quick when responding. We would certainly stay again. Thank you!

Peaceful home away from home

My family and I had such a lovely stay in your home. We loved using the kayaks to explore the river. On the first day of our stay we were visited by a mother and baby manatee! The house was spacious for the 6 of us. The beds were amazing! I haven't slept so well in a long time! The location was great, giving us easy access to the river, restaurants, and shops. We had a very hard time leaving to return to real life! Thank you for hosting us!

Had a little trouble checking in- alarm was going off so sheriff was called on us lol. But Anthony was a great host and was able to fix our issue right away. We would absolutely stay here again! The house was very clean and thoughtfully stocked with snacks and essentials like laundry soap and basic shower supplies, which made traveling with kids so much easier. The setup was perfect for families. Our four kids (ages 4–11) had an amazing time.The kids loved kayaking and fishing right off the dock. Our 7-year-old daughter even caught four bluegill, which was a highlight of the trip! The fireplace was wonderful, and making s’mores and bbqing together was such a fun touch. Having kayaks available and easy access to the main river nearby was a huge plus.One day we rented a boat and explored up toward the Gulf, including the Mud River. We were lucky enough to see manatees both in the canal and in the Mud River, which was unforgettable for the kids and adults alike.Overall, this was a fantastic stay....clean, well-equipped, kid-friendly, and full of great outdoor experiences. Highly recommend, especially for families. Thank you for a great stay!

The house was beautifully set up. Kitchen had everything we would need. Yard had plenty of space. View was beautiful. Had manatee swimming and feeding directly in front of the dock. Not far from hospital hole( a local have to see spot). Not far from rogers park. Kayaks right there to use with life jackets. And if you have a large group there was a house right beside it owned by the same family i believe. Will definitely visit again.

LOVED IT!

We loved this place and would surely stay here again. We've now stayed at three different places in the Weeki Wachee Gardens area and this place has my favorite view on the canal side, with a number of big trees across the canal and a couple of nice palms in the yard. There's a great backyard firepit and a well-stocked woodpile. It's kayaking on the canals that draws us here and the house had a great selection of kayaks, all in good shape aside from some minor issues with seat straps on a couple, but easily resolved. There were a couple of quirky things, like a low doorframe between kitchen/dining area and living room. Getting in and out of kayaks was a little challenging for me when the water was low, but much of that was my old knees. Light switches were labeled--a nice touch. There was a fine screened-in porch, too. The owners were very attentive and welcoming, and clearly interested in their guests having a good stay.

Clean, but no dishwasher and leaking kayaks.

We liked the cleanliness of the cabin. Also the cabin is not far away from the main river. Now there are few things we didn't like: We really didn't like there are 4 tv screens but NO dishwasher. For hygiene reasons, plates and glasses should be washed at very high temperature before they are used by the next guest. At least we expect that before we use them after who knows how many people before us. There were no water plugs in any of the kayaks and one of the orange kayaks was leaking from the bottom. Paddling after a few hours was very difficult because it had taken on a lot of water. The ceiling in the cabin is very low, especially in the part where the floor is raised. I hit my head on the ceiling beam twice.

What a wonderful spot!We enjoyed our first whole family vacation while checking bucket list items off. From swimming with manatees right off the dock, kayaking in the clear blue water of the Weeki Wachee, laughing at the striped mullet as they jump their way upstream, catch and releasing turtles, checking out Frank Howard Park for shelling, Honeymoon Island Beach for a sunset, Bayport Pier for a sunrise and enjoying some great grub at the Silver Dolphin and Upperdeck it was a divine busy trip!

A great little hidden gem. Located minutes from the springs water parks and a short paddle to the clear water. We were shocked to see manatee this late in the year but we saw 3, 2 different times!

Great location

We had a pleasant stay at this property near Weeki Wachee state park. The property was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed during our stay and the furniture was comfortable. Having use of the kayaks and being on the water was one of the reasons we chose this location.
