"We really enjoyed our stay in this vintage vacation gem. Tucked away in the woods, this little house is both comfortable and accommodating. After a day exploring the island, our family enjoyed gathering around the rustic dining table for an evening meal surrounded by books and soft lamplight. The large living room with roomy sofas was a great spot to watch movies and eat popcorn; especially during some heavy rainstorms that hammered the island during our visit.When the sun was out, the back deck was a great place to soak up some rays. And a beach is a walk (or short drive) away. Definitely visit the nearby highly rated Orange Peel Bakery for the best cakes and scones you will ever taste. Also in close range, the lighthouse has a parade of gift stores, ice cream, lobster rolls and coffee places to grab a quick bite. We had a great time on the island and this little house was a big part of it. If you’re expecting sleek and modern finishes, this property may not be for you. But if you’re happy to step back in time to old school Vineyard vibes, then your wallet will thank you."
