"A special place close to Yala that makes you feel like you’re in the park. Small staff was so friendly and lovely, and I felt well taken care of. Delicious meals—often candlelit and with an outdoor grill. Room was air conditioned and well appointed, despite the jungle setting. Only caution: there probably will be some wildlife in your bathroom! They also organized my safaris in the park, as well as pick ups and drop-offs, which I appreciated."

"Rating is based on the fact it is a camp. The staff is great, really friendly and take good care of you. They helped with anything we needed. It is a bit hard to find, but they met us on the road and brought us to the camp site. The location is well kept. Since it is a camp, there are bugs, there are reptiles, but the staff do their best to keep them out of your way. The breakfast was great and very peaceful."

"We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. "From start to finish the staff made our trip perfect. Incredibly friendly, attentive, always looking to do something a little extra to make your stay unforgettable. Incredible food and accommodation (with hot running water and full comfort!) in a romantic setting surrounded by nature, private safaris in stunning Yala National Park led by guides who are passionate about the animals in the park - we saw countless birds, water buffalo, lizards, a wild boar family, even a sloth bear!"

"This property is actually non existenting and a scam. No such property exists. Can not reach the hotel by phone number given. Expedia has not followed this up in a timely manner and we are awaiting a refund of our money."

"Amazing place to stay if you plan to do a Safari in Wilpattu. The tent is very beautiful, the staff is super atentious and you can feel very close to nature. Calm and relaxing stay! I totally recomend it!"

"My friend and I had a 2 night stay of our 6 nights touring of Sri Lanka. As you walk through the doors you are escorted to the reception area. Check in was quick and you are escorted to your room where you are told of the amenities in the room. The room was clean, spacious and had sea views. We had a balcony with a seated area. Breakfast consisted of wide selection and my food allergies was catered for. I was impressed that the reception staff at the Tide restaurant knew my allergies and a chef would guide me on what was safe or make me something slightly different. The outdoor view from the Tide restaurant is amazing especially at sunset. The food there is very nice. The roof top area is lovely and a very nice place to sit and relax. The complimentary city tour is a bonus and a nice thought. Overall I was very impress with this hotel and I would definitely stay here again."

"We had a lovely stay at Granbell Hotel Colombo. It closed out our two week stay in Sri Lanka, and was one of our highlights. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable and well located. The rooms are incredibly well suited for couples - perfectly sized and with an amazing view (if you are debating, upgrade to a sea view)! My only complaint is that the menu prices exclude VAT, and you are unaware of this until you receive your first bill! It means that the hotel is unfortunately very unreasonable for food and drink for Sri Lanka - but there are plenty of eating options in Colombo."
