" We had a great time relaxing here, whether we were inside or out. Inside is clean and bright and comfortable. The balcony has a view of trees and the dunes and the beach itself, and the beach access is right by the building. There are lots of good seafood places withinten minutes' drive along the main street, ditto for ice cream shops."

"Good AC and heating unit in the room. The pool was kept up very nice and the walk to the beach is so nice and not very far at all. Very nice place to stay."

"Nice laid back motel refashioned into a full-service/amenity hotel. Homage to artist/conservationist Guy Harvey. Easy access to the beach. Our March stay: Clean room with small balcony (bathroom could use some refurbishment). Staff were absolutely lovely. Plenty of beach towels. Great little outdoor bar at the pool with live music off and on. The restaurant/bar at the front had very good food: breakfast, lunch, dinner with covered outdoor seating away from the lively pool activity. Tasty coffee (and cheap!) with free refills til 10. Convenient shuttle stop to different beaches etc. We’ll be back!"

"Checked in went to the room to find it smelled of mold and mildew, there were stains all over the comforter in one room and the other had holes burnt in the blanket. Sheets and towels were dingy yellow room just appeared to be unclean and unkept. The shared balcony door did not lock and was difficult to open. There was no climate control. Went straight down to the office to notify them they got angry telling us nothing was wrong with the room. I tried to check out so we wasn’t charged for the rest of our stay they refused to check us out or give anything showing we wasn’t staying. Very disappointed with the entire situation. Do not waste your time or money at this place. 3 other families were experiencing the same thing in the hour we were in the lobby trying to resolve similar situation. "
