Aqua Vista - Cozy beach home w/ large deck

A quiet stretch of coastline and salt-tinged breezes set the tone for your stay in Summer Haven. Spend your days exploring nearby shores, then return home to unwind in a spacious setting designed for gathering and easy comfort. Just about half a mile from the beach, this four-bedroom retreat offers room to spread out while staying close to Florida’s Historic Coast. Sorry, No pets.

Sleeping arrangements
With 4 bedrooms and 5 beds, the home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. Three full baths make it easy for families or groups to settle in, whether you're getting ready for a beach outing or winding down for the evening.

Living spaces
Inside, you’ll find a welcoming living area with streaming TV and comfortable seating for relaxing after a day out. Wifi and a dedicated workspace support remote work or catching up on emails. Air conditioning, heating, and ceiling fans help keep the temperature comfortable year-round.

Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen includes everything you need to prepare meals at home, along with a dining table suited for shared dinners and conversation. A dishwasher makes cleanup simple so you can spend more time enjoying your stay.

Situated in Summer Haven, about 20 minutes south of St. Augustine, you’ll be within easy reach of Marineland, Fort Matanzas National Monument, and the historic streets of downtown. Beach days are simple with shoreline access roughly half a mile away.

Spring Break Haven

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Aqua Vista. It is a great location for walks to the inlet, and you can hear the ocean from the screened-in balcony. Easy drive to our favorite Crescent Beach, either drive-on or park at the various lots along A1A. The house can use a refresher of kitchen supplies, some interior painting, grill cleaning supplies, updated front porch furniture, and beach chairs. A desk for remote work would be nice too. The house was super clean, and the beds were comfy. Plenty of space for a big family.We would stay here again.

A few issues but overall a good stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property had some cleaning issues and while the realtor offered to send the cleaners again we had already gone to target that nite to get a mop, cleaning supplies, and a new coffee pot. (Which we did not leave there). At the end of our stay the realtor provided half our cleaning fee back. The location of the property is pretty good, not a lot of traffic down the small street but it is about 100 yds from A1A and when the motorcycle were around it was loud. It's also 100 yards from the water though. There is not a beach, but a very rocky overlook. (We did not need a beach but loved the view). The house is beautifully furnished, nice decor, but it needs some TLC. For the price, I expected more.

Ideal location for a beach and Saint Augustine family vacation.

Three generations enjoyed this retreat that enjoys easy beach access, very close proximity to Marineland and Fort Matanzas, and a fairly short drive to St. Augustine. Home is very family friendly. We had an amazing week!

A little disappointed.

No propane when we checked in so we had no hot water or stove for two days. Listing didn’t say there was a grill so we planned on using the stove. The upstairs air conditioning was faulting out. It was 86 when we checked in. Air conditioner wasn’t fixed for a week. My husband and sons worked to get the hot water heater and air conditioner to work. Oven wasn’t fixed before we left. The broiler only worked so my husband was able to switch it out so we could use the oven when we needed it. You had to run the dryer two or three times to dry a load of wash. The house needs to be updated and painted. The yard needs to be cleaned up and there were mouse droppings in the garage. Kitchen needs more bowls and utensils. The house needs some care given to it.
