Vintage House Near Downtown & Beaches-Relax by the Fire Pit in Old Florida Vibes

  • Cypress cottage is nestled underneath our 100 year old twin Oaks very close to downtown Saint Augustine and to our beautiful sandy beaches. It is the main house of our duplex. Cedar cottage Is unique with Mahogany and pine floors, a large spacious kitchen with Butcher block countertops and Sunlight radiating through the double windows. Lots of room to relax. The private front porch invites you into a beautifully restored 1958 vintage style home nestled very close to Downtown St. Augustine. Sleeps 6 very comfortably. The back yard is shared with a fire pit and electric grill and seating. Events are permitted with a nominal event fee if all 3 properties are reserved.

Love the location, the host was easy to communicate with. House was comfortable. I gave a t star review review because of these things, if anything the furnishings could be updated, but consiswring the price it was good for the value.

Relaxing getaway

Property cute! Great location for checking out St Augustine beaches, Gatorland and around the block from state park! We enjoyed the quick trip my 13 year old immediately said we should stay for a week! Thanks for sharing your property with us!

Great space!

We visited Saint Augustine for a night to celebrate my daughter‘s 10th birthday. The home was very lovely & comfortable. Tammy was so helpful and great with communication. The beds were comfortable and delightful after a long day of running around. The location was great for getting to our desired destinations. We can’t wait to go back and stay again. Thank you Tammy!

This home is adorable and the outside area is perfect although it was too cold the weekend we were there to enjoy it and have a fire in the fire pit. Although you do have to drive into town, it’s definitely not walking distance.

Girls Trip

The home was very comfortable for 6 women. Short drive or shuttle service to historic district. Local bar with great live music just at the end of the street. Back yard was nice to hang out in. Host was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Everything was very good, I forgot my daughter's thermos and she offered to help me I know I will return The garden is wonderful, surrounded by trees and has a large hammock where you can relax and contemplate nature.

The visit was quiet. The beds were comfortable. Only one area that was noticible in the living room there were droppings, the front door lock needs to be reprogrammed. Everything else was fine.

House was great. Could have been dusted better - lots of dirt on air vents and ceilings. The mattress in 2nd bed in the bedroom definitely needs replacing. Was all sunken in. Other than that we loved the house and location.

Fun and comfortable weekend stay.

The house location is super close to the main Hwy we’re lots of restaurants, CVS, Walmart are. Adorable house. Was perfect for us 3 adults. It’s decorated very pretty. The kitchen area is very large. Beds were very comfortable. Only complain we had was the 2 wicker chairs in living room, the sitting area springs are shot, so when you sit you sink in and it’s extremely hard to get out of the chairs. Both of them. Other than that we absolutely loved this house. 10 thumbs up!

Girls mini vacay

The front door keypad was a little tricky but nothing to get upset about. The house is super cute but old, so it creeks, as you would expect. Rooms are nice size, and the bed were ok. Not complaining about that, just they weren't my bed lol. Neighborhood seemed nice but I was a little nervous about the bar on the corner. No worries cause there were no problems, just wasn't expecting it. Overall loved this little place. Will use again!

My overall impression of the property was decent for a last minute get away. When we arrived at the property there was plenty of room for parking. There was someone staying in the little house that was attached to the house which we thought was a little strange but that person never bothered us. When we walked inside the decor was very cute but it definitely could use some renovations. The bathroom is where we thought could use some work. The latch to flush the toilet broken when we got there so we had to be extra careful flushing the toilet, the water pressure for the shower wasn’t good. Overall, for a last minute trip I would recommend this place.
