Two hundred steps of easy path are all that separate Endless Summer from the sand at St. Augustine Beach, and when you would rather not share the water with the tide, a fenced private pool sits waiting on the back paver deck. This is a two-level beach house built for a group that wants room to spread out without giving up quick ocean access.
There are four bedrooms here, arranged so almost any mix of travelers fits comfortably. Two rooms hold king beds, one has a queen, and the fourth is set up with two twins for kids or a pair of friends. Altogether the house sleeps eight across 2,420 square feet. Bathrooms are not in short supply either: four full baths plus a half bath, with a soaking tub, walk-in showers, and a tub and shower combination spread among them, so morning beach prep never bottlenecks.
The main living space stays bright and easygoing, with hardwood floors, a large HDTV, comfortable seating, and coastal touches throughout. The kitchen is fully outfitted for real cooking, from the stove, oven, and refrigerator down to the cookware, toaster, coffee maker, and dishes, and it opens to a generous dining area that seats the whole group for a sit-down meal. Outside, several decks and a balcony wrap the home, giving everyone a few different spots to settle with a coffee or watch the evening cool off.
Day-to-day comforts are covered: central air and heat, in-home washer and dryer, linens and towels, Wi-Fi, an iron, and on-site parking. The private pool can be heated on request for an added seasonal fee when you want the water a little warmer.
The house sits in the St. Augustine Beach community on Anastasia Island, a relaxed coastal stretch known for surfing, paddleboarding, surf fishing, and shark tooth hunting along the shore. The beach pier and a good run of restaurants and shops are close by, and historic downtown St. Augustine, the oldest city in the country, is about a ten minute drive for St. George Street, the bayfront, and the museums.
