"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we have seen at a hotel, with a lot of options. The room was very quiet and the location was good. The room was a bit outdated but clean, but the bed kept rolling away from the wall if we tried to sit up against the back of the bed. Overall we would definitely stay here again."

"The room we had was of generous proportions and we were on 8th floor with a view out to the harbour. If could fault it was because the bathroom didn't have any hooks to hang things on and it didn't seem to have an exhaust system for when the shower was running. "

"The location is perfect for the best beaches, and te papa museum, Weta workshop and shopping and paua diving! The host was wonderful and made sure there was a bed made up for each of our 14 people.It was a wonderful stay, a place we could make a big pot of soup on a could night and not have to go to a restaurant. Only slight downside ‘a lot of stairs’ due to being on the hill, but the view is worth it!"

"Staff were great at helping us get settled and for recommended for eateries and amenities. Room was clean and had mini kitchen, small fridge, combined washer/dryer (although dryer needs to run overnight - ended up hair drying most of our clothes). "
