There are some great restaurants and cafes and a wonderful bookstore all very close by. the rooms are comfortable and well appointed and well tended by a very kind staff. we stay here again and again for all of the warmth and the history. "

"We had a great experience at Hyatt Downtown St. Paul. All the staff we interacted with were very nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and beautiful with the tall ceiling and drapes that open with the push of a button. Loved having two sinks in the bathroom. It was overall, a very quiet, peaceful stay, no thin walls where you can hear your neighbors having conversations… a huge plus! Breakfast was good and a nice variety. The only inconvenience was not having a microwave in the room but, they have one in the breakfast area we used. Parking was a little inconvenient as well, we opted out of paying $39/day for valet but, minimal street parking and other ramps are available. We found a garage for $4 on the weekends, which was very affordable and less than a block from the hotel entrance. "
