"Rovanska is a good location for exploring other areas. This apartment was good and we enjoyed swimming by the lovely sea minutes walk from apartment. Our hosts were very lovely. It would be useful to be able to ask them more about the area but English was limited. But we managed ok. We left some information at the apartment for the next guests. Useful if they could keep a file perhaps. The pool is delightful and spotless. As is the apartment. A car is necessary and we explored some really stunning coastline and towns. The swimming at Rovanska though was the best! Quiet, clear water and east to get in water with sea shoes. All in all a really lovely stay. Thank you"

"This hotel was a total surprise. The small town of Obrovac is located in a canyon along a river. The ride to get there was very pretty and the setting of the hotel right on the river was beautiful. The place has obviously been recently renovated and it is all new and clean smelling. The hotel restaurant served excellent dishes (I had a steak and a salad and my husband had seafood risotto) and very good wine. The staff was super friendly. The town is run down but the hotel and their restaurant is a gem."
