"Our room was out by the pool and so it was away from the noise of the parking lot. Convenient liquor store attached to the property and it was very convenient to the tourist shuttles particularly the one run by Lloyd who picked us up and took us back to and from the concerts we went to each night."

"Everything was excellent; AC worked well, great bed, sheets, shower, towels."

"The staff were excellent, location was great. Room was nice, however the bathroom area took us a bit to get used to. They configured a shower and a bathroom in the room. Due to the old bldg. the fixtures were nice. But there is no privacy for the couple staying in the room together. So if you're a bit shy, this could be an issue. I'm not sure if other rooms are like this. The area is noisy due to all the music and bars. But the noise died down at 1100 pm. Otherwise due to the staff alone I would recommend this place. You just might want to chose a later bedtime if your early birds. And the location is great for the area. "

"We had a wonderful time. The staff, the other guests, all added to our experience. Easy walking to downtown. The breakfasts were incredible. I would stay there again when we return to St. Augustine."

"No elevators and we had rooms on the second floor---and we are in our 70s! Railroad tracks are right behind the property and they are very active through out the night. We were charged an additional $15 a night at check in because we didn't book direct thru them. We did not expect that. The walk into town was supposed to be a short one---was not very short. Encountered homeless people camping in the bushes by the hotel. Took taxis after that. The hot tub water looked like pea soup. Rooms were very dated. Beds were fine. There is a shuttle right next door that takes you to the trolley tour. Very nice and convenient "

"Beautiful, clean, spacious room with friendly staff. 2 negatives are the fact that the room wasn’t ready until after 5 pm and had to request clean towels for the next day. Once asked they brought immediately. "

"You couldn't ask for a lmore welcoming staff! The rooms are updated and clean. The location can't be beat! It is right on Avenita De Mendez. Right across from the harbor. Walking distance to excellent restaurants and St George St. "
