A fantastic home base for our week in Grenada. Early communication with the property manager, Jane, and her meet us when we arrived gave a welcoming first impression. Both her and Sheldon were very responsive whenever we had questions. The location was fantastic. It took about 30 minutes to walk into St George’s, 30 minutes to Grande Anse, less than 10 to a grocery store, and had a number of restaurants within walking distance. You’re in a community, and you get to see the workings of an everyday neighbourhood. The locals were welcoming and there is a fruit vendor down the street. The view was spectacular and we used the outside balcony often listening to the sounds around us. The pool area and outdoor spaces were well appointed and designed to take a load off. We took advantage of the pool, grill, and laundry facilities.Inside had everything we needed. Including some staples for us when we arrived, like eggs, cheese, bread, wine, and snacks. A thoughtful touch. Everything was new and very clean. The beds were super comfortable. Although there was noise from the streets outdoors, once the windows were closed, you didn’t hear anything indoors. Air conditioning and fans in each room allowed the apartment to cool quickly and keep it comfortable inside after a day in the sun. The only down side is the hill coming up, but it’s also what gives you the great view. Most taxi drivers would drive up it, which was nice after a day of hiking. Will definitely recommend!
