Very cosy room with curtains across the bed so felt like own little private space, only concern was the getting up and down from the top bunk as there wasn’t much to hold onto but was told by staff that this is a new design and still in process of being rolled out. "We have stayed at the Clayton at Manchester Airport many times. The front desk was very accommodating when booking an accessible room for my Mom. The rooms and the public areas are pleasant. The restaurant was closed for a function( the people had not turned up, it was empty) but we were accommodated in the bar. The serving staff were not as great as they have been in the past. The food was lovely. The sink in the bathroom was blocked, we didn’t discover this until after dinner. I brought the issue up when we checked out as it’s unacceptable that a hotel room doesn’t have a fully functional bathroom. The person brought the manager, the issue was discussed, he asked for my email address and said he would email me. Two days later, I still haven’t heard from him."
