Modern town house set over three floors in quiet street near the heart of st Helier. Two double bedrooms suitable for a family of four. King size bed in one bedroom two single beds in the other, extra three single folding bed . May not be suitable for very young children due to the stairs. Freeview recordable tv and unlimited wifi.Parking for one car in single garage. Pets allowed. Main bedroom is en suite to a shower room hand basin and toilet. Amazing and peaceful location

The property was in an excellent location for travelling to the rest of the Island. It was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this place to stay.

Great house

Spacious and comfortable house in a central location, ten minutes walk into the centre of town. Nice to have an outside space and having the garage was brilliant. Choice of convenience stores within a couple of minutes walk. Overall a great base for our week in Jersey.

First visit to Jersey

Both My wife and I enjoyed Jersey. The apartment the living room and bed rooms were clean however the ground floor washroom floor was not. The area was quiet but it was a good 15-20 walk to the centre and bus station and the apartment was not near a bus stop. There was no literature or brochures about Jersey which is a first and I have self catered for over 50years. William King

Cat House

Pros - House was large and roomy. Great location. Easy walk into St Helier. Fabulous to have garage available even if we didn’t need it. Cons - cleaning wasn’t great. Lots of cat hair on bedding. Had booked saying two rooms required but only main bedroom had bed made. The real issue was that the house reeked of cat. Had to hold our breath to go in and out of ground floor; got better on the upper floors.

Jersey staycation

Property is a nice size for our family of 4 and in a decent location not far from the town centre. Having a garage is handy, fine for the size or hire car we booked (Ford Fiesta). Rooms all a good size and plenty of light. Photos don’t do the property justice as it is lovely. Large utility room on ground floor very handy for drying wetsuits etc. Only word of caution, the wooden floors are very nice but also quite slippery, so take care if walking in socks or barefoot!

Top Lage, geräumiges, nettes Häuschen

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Großzügiger Wohn- und Essbereich. Die Matratzen im Doppelbett war super.Vom Fernseher waren unsere Kinder (11 und 14 Jahre) begeistert. Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine wunderbare Urlaubswoche auf Jersey. Gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist sehr schön und absolut sauber. Das Haus ist größer als die Bilder es vermuten lassen. Wir fanden die Garage sehr praktisch,wenn man mit dem Auto anreist. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ideal property for St Helier

We enjoyed the space and facilities and the great location. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Also having a garage was a bonus and it certainly challenges ones reversing abilities! There were one or two slight problems. The toilet seat in the en suite is cracked and caused a painful posterior so had to sit on the bowl! Also the drainage in the shower is very slow so was paddling in a couple of inches of water! Waste bins in the bathrooms would be useful and in the kitchen we found a few issues eg. Broken potato masher , colander and broken scissors. A toast rack would be a good addition. However these small criticisms did not spoil a wonderful stay at 6 Columbus street!

Jersey escape

Property was lovely (return visitor from last year) and communication with Kelly was great. House is in a great location easy to walk into town. Having a garage is a big plus, as parking is challenging in St Helier generally. Went for a small car as might be tight in a large car. Would definitely recommend staying here, ticked all the boxes for us and our 2 lads (16 and 13).

St Helier rental

Our first time to Jersey, we had an excellent stay. Whilst the location of the property will not be to everyone's taste, the town house is spacious, functional and a very good base location for walking into St Helier or exploring the island. Parking is difficult in St Helier so it was very helpful to be able to park in the garage with electric shutter. We were able to park our VW Tiguan. At ground level is a large room with washing machine, dryer, sink and extra shower. All very useful for beachwear and washing wet suits. Out the back is a useful decking area for drying on a line. Good kitchen with facilities that leads on to a large dining table that leads into sitting room. Two bedrooms with en suite upstairs. The house was clean, plenty of towels and beach towels. Liaising with Kelly, owner, was easy.

Review

Clean linen and bathroom, grimmy kitchen. Frightened to use blinds after three fell down and we had to restore - whilst another was hung by a single screw. Rubbish bin lid in kitchen was broken so had to put something on it to keep it shut and avoid bin smells escaping.

Great for town

Huge modern town house with all mod cons plus garage for a small car. 5 minutes walk into St Helier. Local pub and shops around the corner.

Perfect!

We had a nice stay in Jersey. The house was just perfect for our family. Near everything, the kids were happy , my mum and dad said was lovelly . That made our holidays perfect!
