"Gyor is a beautiful city within a 2 hour drive of Budapest. Definitely worth stopping! This hotel was perfect. The only drawback was that there was not lift which was difficult for my 78 year old mother. We managed and were very impressed with the property, the staff and breakfast the following morning.

"Barrok Hotel is in an excellent location close to many restaurants and shopping. It is just off the main square providing for a very quiet stay but very close to all of what the Promenade has to offer. It is very close to the underground Dunakupa parking lot. The hotel is in a walking only area and you cannot drive your car in front of the hotel to drop off luggage or check in. You must park you car in the underground parking lot. The staff was very pleasant and their breakfast was satisfactory. Very good value."
