"great location, clean and tidy but needs some TLC, reception staff were wonderful, breakfast staff were very attentive, bar staff rude, staff rose garden outside were disinterested with no service skill. breakfast were a good selection and great quality, day menu in the garden was dreadfuil, over priced and poor standard. "Excellent customer service, the reception staff were all incredibly helpful. The dinner was exceptional, we had the Mac n cheese with pesto and Fish & Chips. Room layout and size was perfect, air con was not cool enough at some point it was very warm in the night. Breakfast was perfect and lots of great options. Enjoyed the cocktails. "Elevator was down and had requested a pick up of my luggage and no one came- then attempted to contact multiple different ways and could not reach anyone. Room was great, breakfast was delicious. Down elevator/ hard to contact was frustrating. "

"My wife went into Addenbrooks for brain surgery and wanted me to be nearby. Although this wasn’t the cheapest hotel it was in fairly easy walking distance to the hospital. When I got there the receptionist asked what my stay was for and I told her she waved the parking fee and also told me that they do a special rate for people staying and going to the hospital. My room was very comfortable and the air conditioning came in very handy as it was so hot that week. The free breakfast was amazing and plentiful. I really enjoyed my stay although the circumstances could have been different. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you again. "
