Comfortable rooms, great breakfast. Pool is lovely but generally full of canoodling couples so if that’s your thing then you’ll love it. Not great if you’re a teen who wants to splash around a bit.

well situated close to attractions and Bugibba Bus terminal. The hotel is clean,with nice sized rooms and bathroom. The rooftop pool has a great view and I always managed to get a lounge chair. I would recommend staying here

Everything was fantastic, only one small complaint, breakfast was plentiful and a great choice but never very hot, however a microwave which was available soon sorted my plated up full english 😀

Clean room good quality towels comfy beds. Excellent breakfast. Staff polite and very helpful. We had an issue with the noise from the hotel behind (Santana ) from the cooling tower, we asked to change room at 1.15 in the morning because we couldn’t sleep. We asked for a room at the front, the staff were so helpful with us moving rooms. We have stayed here many times, this is the first time we have had a problem which was the hotel behinds fault not the Mayflower’s.

Unfortunately, the Mayflower experienced a laundry room fire before my arrival unbeknownst to me. The hotel had to be closed down. They were kind enough to re book me into the Doubletree by Hilton, where I stayed for the duration of my trip. This was done at no charge to me. Communication with the reservation staff prior to my arrival was very efficient and pleasant. However, communication with their corporate representatives after arrival was not very good. Perhaps understandable given the situation. They must have had their hands full with re situating their guests and daily arriving guests, at other hotels. I certainly hope that no one was injured by the fire. The Doubletree staff were very accommodating and helpful and I enjoyed my stay there very much.

A very nice reasonably priced hotel. Breakfast was really good and the overall layout works very well. Although the view looked out over other buildings we had very good sea views in the gaps. We will certainly stay there again.

We loved staying here. The hotel staff and property were wonderful. The rooms were clean and of a good size. The staff were very helpful with any questions or needs. The property was well kept with a bar and lobby area to relax in after a day of exploring. The breakfast had a great selection to choose from and was an excellent start to the day. The location was close to main bus station for easy access to explore. There were many areas close to dine and shop. Only disappointment was that the pool was being worked on so we were unable to use. Very safe area to stay and we would stay here again.

Room was clean and bed comfy. Safe was not working, reported it and was told it would be repaired or replaced the next day but this was not the case. Bit disappointed that the pool bar and pool was closed but weather was poor so no mee to swim. Overall great experience and staff are very welcoming.

For our budget this hotel provided excellent value for money. Breakfast choice was adequate and the staff were friendly. The bus terminal was just at the end of the road so location great if that's how you plan to get around. All in all a nice place to stay.
