Fantastic vacation

We had a family group of ten staying at the house and we absolutely loved it! The home owners were so accommodating and nice. The house was beautiful and the outdoor space was amazing!!! There was plenty to do at the house and the views are breathtaking. We cannot wait to go back.

Awesome friends trip

We were a group of 5 friends who spent a week at Casa Dolphina and really enjoyed ourselves. The property is awesome, great views and sunsets, you never want to leave. Check in and check out were very easy and the owners were awesome to deal with. Thank you Fabienne and Gerold.

Paradise revisited

We are three senior sisters and their husbands who have found Casa Dolphina to be the perfect place for a yearly get together. This was our fourth visit with our fifth reserved. We keep returning since the amenities check all of our boxes, inside and out. Fabienne and Gerold are the perfect hosts who know how to make it known you are appreciated.

Beautiful Morning - Amazing Sunsets

Our stay at this waterfront paradise was nothing short of magical! This was not our first time renting this property, and we will be back again! The property exceeded expectations with its breathtaking views and thoughtful amenities. Waking up and enjoying coffee on the deck overlooking the water was pure bliss. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy nature’s beauty. We are already planning my next family stay!

The most wonderful family vacation!

Casa Dolphina was the perfect vacation spot for our family! We had 8 adults and 2 kids in our group. The house was clean, well kept, and the perfect size for everyone to be together but also have their own space. Some of the group fished from the dock while others relaxed in the pool and hot tub, even played some pool, and kayaked in our downtime. The sunroom was the most popular spot; rain or shine you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the view of the water. The owners were fabulous, and their attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. Fabienne and Gerold were incredibly kind and came bearing gifts, welcoming us with open arms and made us feel comfortable in their home. They helped suggest things to do close by, even suggested some beautiful beaches to check out and dinner spots. They stayed in touch for anything we could have ever needed. Prior to our trip, they quickly responded to all of our questions. The location couldnt be better! You have everything you need, whether it be stores, golf, food, or even several beaches in just a short drive, but honestly there’s so much to enjoy at the house you may not even want to leave. 10/10 experience and 5 stars all around. Thank you for everything and sharing your beautiful home with us! We had the best time and will most definitely be back!!

Fantastic Family Vacation

Great location. Very clean. Beautiful backyard for fishing, swimming, kayaking and enjoying all the different wildlife. Added bonus were all the fireworks on the 4th. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Great family spot

Excellent location, fantastic panoramic view of the water. Our grandchildren enjoyed all of the on-site activities: the pool, hot tub, putting green, kayaks and billiard table. Fabian and Gerold were wonderful and gracious hosts.

Gulf Coast family fun

Great location. Fantastic space to enjoy and relax between the hot tub, pool and large open living space this very unique and fun house with outside tiki bar and bbq area was a joy to stay. The sunset was awesome and dolphins on a daily basis. A very unique and pleasant stay.

I can’t say enough about our family vacation last week! The house was perfect; exactly as depicted in the photos. The owners were exceptional. Amazing stay

Delightful property that exceeded expectations and gave our extended family group of 8 plenty of space to be together and have individual space too. Pool, hot tub, kayaks and mini-golf were enjoyed by everyone. Hosts were very quick to fix minor issues and very generous towards us all.

This was an amazing place and was very peaceful . The neighborhood was great and a short Uber ride to anything you want to do. The best sunrises bad sunsets you can see from thx back patio.

Another Great week at Casa Dolphina!

This was my family and my 2nd year renting this property and it was another great week for us! The property is very spacious for our family of 8 adults and 2 children. We love the pool (it is well worth it to pay the extra to heat the pool!)as we as the dock and access to kayaks. The owners welcomed us on our first full day and are always very responsive both for questions before and during our stay. I highly recommend this property and we are already looking forward to returning next year!

My family recently spent a week at Casa Dolphina and my 11 yr old nephew summed it up best… “that was the best vacation I’ve ever had!!” he told me. Now, he hasn’t been on that many vacations yet in his young little life, but I certainly have and I can honestly tell you, he’s not wrong. As the planner extraordinaire of our family vacations, I can confidently say that my entire family echoes his sentiment. If you’re looking for an absolutely stunning, well maintained, clean, spacious, beautiful property full of charm and character then look no further because you’ve found it! The location & views-breathtaking! The neighborhood-peaceful, beautiful and friendly. The amenities-you’ll have absolutely everything you could ever want or need! I’ll also add that my parents with limited mobility really appreciated how accessible everything was for them. This home is a true gem and it exceeded every expectation and then some. We will forever cherish the memories we made here- sharing family stories in the sunroom over coffee, daily dolphin sightings, kayaking in the bay and exploring the nearby island. We truly had the time of our lives. My family cannot stop raving to me about how much they loved this home!! And if that’s not enough, the hosts Fabienne and Gerold are just absolutely delightful and kind human beings. I can’t say enough about how amazing & wonderful they are! Fabienne even planted a plumeria tree from my late great uncle’s home so now we have family at Casa Dolphina!

The sand on the island was soft and beautiful and the water was warm!

We arrived as tropical storm Debbie passed by. Even though the weather was bad for a day and half we had plenty of fun utilizing the game room to play pool, board games to entertain ourselves. After the storm passed we had beautiful weather and was able to soak up the sun by the pool, The girls loved the pool and the guys loved fishing from the dock where they caught dinner a couple days. The owners were awesome and. Rey responsive to any questions or needs we had before and during our stay. We will definitely come back to stay again. The house had everything we wanted and needed for a wonderful and friends vacation.

AMAZING!!!.....As always

Once again, Casa Dolphina knocked it out of the park! This was our second time staying and we may have enjoyed it more than the first. Fabienne and Gerold are amazing hosts and go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We had 6 adults and 3 children and had more than enough room. Saw dolphins everyday, 2 manatees, caught 4 small sharks, and multiple catfish. Can't wait to make it back!

Casa Dolphina

The property had a nice variety of activities for our family of 6 adults and 5 grandchildren (12-17). The pool table was a hit with the boys, kayaking was fun, and hot tub was a good relaxing time after fishing off dock and swimming in pool. The property owners were most responsive to any questions prior to our visit and during. We enjoyed Fabienne’s cupcakes too! The view from the back was a daily evening event…lovely view of bay with beautiful sunsets… Definitely recommend for a relaxing and fun vacation….

Relaxing visit in paradise!

The communication with Fabienne was excellent both before and after booking and during our entire stay. We had a wonderful visit and took full advantage of all the property had to offer from the swimming pool (strongly recommend upgrading to heat the pool!) to kayaking and relaxing in the hot tub. We had 10 people in our party - 8 adults and 2 kids and the house was very spacious. The kids are 1 and 3 years old and the bunk bed room with the pink panther on the wall was a big hit as was the dock lift, pool, cool birds that would stop by to visit and dolphin sightings. The host gifts both upon the beginning and end of our stay were much appreciated nice touches to make us feel welcome. I strongly recommend a visit to casa dolphina!

I'd Do It Again!

What an awesome house. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Sufficient parking for 4 cars stacked. It was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for our large group. The outside living area is amazing. View is stunning with visiting birds and dolphins, and of course beautiful sunsets. Kitchen is well equipped. The second refrigerator/freezer made things easy on us. Beds were very comfortable. Thanks for having Kings! The hosts were extremely hospitable and accommodating; very friendly and available. We plan to return!!

True Paradise

We spent the majority of our time out back. The sunroom was the perfect place to relax, eat meals, and even work while enjoying the most beautiful views. Sliders along 3 sides can be opened/closed. Step outside to the pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, and putting green. Fish from the dock with the home’s fishing poles. This home has everything you could ever want and everything indoors and out is immaculate. The kayaks and especially the remote control platform were a highlight, making it easy to use them often. The bay waters were smooth during our stay. It’s obvious that the hosts put so much love and effort into this home, and add many special touches to make their guests feel welcome. Fabienne and Gerold thank you so much for sharing your paradise.

Another perfect week in paradise.

This was the third consecutive stay for three sisters and their husbands, and it did not disappoint. The layout, with bedrooms on the first floor, works out best for me since I cannot go up and down stairs. We love that the owners, Fabienne and Gerold, arrange to stop by to bring us cupcakes and a parting gift. More importantly, they will ensure that our visit will be hassle-free. We did have two incidents, one where the battery to the front door died, and another where we had a problem with the lift for the kayaks. Each time I sent a text to Fabienne, and within five minutes, she answered me and Gerold was at Casa Dolphina to correct the problems. Our stay was perfect. We made certain to use all of the amenities. The guys loved fishing from the dock. The weather was perfect. We love having our private resort. The kitchen was well stocked, with the pots and pans and outdoor grill making it easy to cook up some great dinners. There is nothing we could think of that was lacking in this home, along with the perfect hosts so we have our fourth year on the books!

A return to a kid in all of us

I was once told " don't travel for the country but the people". This could not be more true of our hosts Fabienne and Gerold. They met us at their home, showed us every aspect of the house to assure we were comfortable. We had a family reunion with our two daughters and thier family. A total of 11 adults. It was a once in a lifetime visit where we enjoyed swimming, outdoor cooking everyday,kayaking ,hot tub and of course a putting green. There was a mechanical lift that allowed kayakers to safely enter the water. Something we never saw befote. And when we wanted to go boating we found a great pontoon rental shop that picked us up and took our entire family boating all day. All this was available because the Casa Dolphina was easy to locate directly actoss from Jack's Island. Our entire family was overwhelmed with the Casa Dolphina and especially with the personal attention giving us from our hosts. As said earlier go for the people and they will make your vacation unforgettable.

Best Vacation Home We Ever Rented

Our original plans for a Yellowstone Nation Park vacation had to be cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic and with our vacation dates pretty much set in stone, we looked for a place that can accommodate 10 of us, for the week we set and that we can drive to. When we saw the listing for this vacation home, it had everything we wanted, the dates were available, and it had 5 stars. Figuring that no one has so many rentals in its history and gets 5 stars, so I thought they must have rented to friends and family and it’s a fake rating. But we rented it for 6 days and holy cow, this place deserves more than 5 stars! Amid the pandemic guidelines, the check in and check out were contactless, although we truly wish to meet the hosts one day. It’s a big comfortable house, extremely clean, nicely decorated and we never felt crowded. There is also a piano, although none of us play! The kitchen has everything you need to cook with that are more upscale as well as the usual kitchen tools. Although Hurricane Sally tried to ruin our vacation (we dubbed our stay as “Pancation 2020) we had a lot of fun and were still able to enjoy the amenities they offer in between storms. The kayaks were used, the swimming pool was amazing and we spent a lot of time on the dock enjoying the views and fishing. For the fishing community out there, we caught reds, trout, blues, snappers, and bonnethead sharks. There are other fish out there, but the weather limited us. If your fishing partner is a little one, just drop the line right off the dock with a small hook for the pinfish. Although we didn’t get to see elk, bison and bears as we planned for our cancelled Yellowstone vacation, we did see osprey and other birds catch fish and a pair of dolphins that would come by a few times a day and swim right under the dock. We cannot end this review without mentioning our hosts Fabienne and Gerold Schwyn. We would like to adopt them. Or they can adopt us. Their choice. Fabienne is a very attentive host, calling and texting to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and that we were having a good time. We cannot say enough positive things about the home and about our hosts. Finally, we spent a morning at the Salvador Dali Museum which was enjoyable but the best art we saw was right above the piano, the classic dogs playing poker. That alone should be reason to love this place. Do not hesitate to consider this beautiful vacation home if available!

Love Casa Dolphina

This was our second time staying at Casa Dolphina. We love the hosts and the house. It such a good family home. They have tons of kayaks and a lift to put the kayaks on and lower down and just paddle out. The kids fished off the pier and caught fish. They have a big porch off the back thatwe love. We spent evenings on the porch playingl games. The pool is beautiful and of course we enjoyed it immensely. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. I would recommend this home to anyone! Gerald and Fabienne are wonderful hosts and are there in a moments notice if there are any problems. You will definitely love Casa Diolphina. We also saw manatees by the pier and dolphins.
