"Happy Ours" Gulfport - charming home, walk to beach and town

"Happy Ours" is a step back in time. Located on a quiet brick-lined street, this home offers a lush, private yard, which is perfect place to suntan among the palms, sit by the fireplace with friends, or just unwind and experience the quiet pace of "old Florida." The interior of the home has numerous retro-inspired touches that will take you back to simpler times, but no shortage of modern amenities like fast wifi, central AC, smart TV, and washer / dryer. The location is excellent. Though you will be on a quiet street, the house is only a 5 minute walk to lively downtown Gulfport, full of cute shops, restaurants, and bars and just a short walk further to the beach. A 15 minute drive will take you to the best beaches in the country (St Pete Beach, Fort DeSoto, and others) as well as downtown St. Petersburg, where you will find a vibrant scene for arts, food, drinks, music, and shopping.

Perfect home away from home!

Well appointed home in a nice area. The location couldn't be better and we walked everywhere! The hosts were friendly, responsive, and accessible. The home gets lots of natural light and the showers are both great! We would definitely stay here again!

The host was terrific at communicating whenever we had a question. The house was just as advertised, even better, really, so clean and quiet and had everything we needed. There was a welcome basket with snacks and wine. House was beautiful inside with cute decor. Kitchen was terrific for all of us to hang out and cook. Just what we wanted, family time.
