It has wood floors throughout, mostly new furnishings and is decorated in a soothing coastal style. The king master bedroom has its own totally remodeled bath in addition the other remodeled bath convenient for the other two bedrooms. There is a living room plus den to spread out a bit in addition to the new outdoor deck looking over a large fenced in back. The perfect venue for grilling! The kitchen has been completely remodeled as well with all stainless appliances, new cabinets and countertops.

The house was very nicely decorated, clean, and enjoyable for 4 adults and 3 kids. It's conveniently located a short walk to the beach or tons of shops and restaurants on idyllic streets with beautiful old trees and sidewalks. We biked most of the island and took advantage of the central location to explore!
We had a great time visiting St. Simons. This house is in a great location as you can easily walk to everything fun. It was very clean and the host was extremely communicative and provided great instructions. The beds do need attention as one is too hard and the other was broken by a previous guest. Overall, a great stay for our family meet up.

Plenty of room and comfortable.Beds were excellent.Very close to the beach Kitchen had everything we needed.I rented through VRBO but the management company was Hodnett Cooper.All rental information was obtained through their guest portal. It never worked. My phone call was not returned.The check in/out process needs to be updated.Picking up and dropping off physical keys offsite (at the Hodnett Cooper office) is a huge inconvenience.No one wants to be responsible for keys on a beach vacation.

Great area
The house was convenient to all the shops and restaurants and beach. The reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star was: the master bed was extra firm (I like medium firm but this bed had no give to it), the 2nd bed (queen) had a huge worn out hold in the middle (even if you tried to sleep on the edge of the bed you rolled in the hold), and it was right next to a busy road that is next to a elementary school and a church preschool. The school is doing construction so you did hear a lot of banging early in the morning. The windows aren’t double pane so it can hear most everything outside. All in all this was one of our best vacations in a long time. I would stay in St Simons again but maybe not this particular house.
Close to Pier. House very nice. The twin beds were very firm not used to that.
We got there and the heat didn’t work. We thought because it was cold they should have checked that out beforehand.We called and a service technician came over but it was 5 hours later before we had heat. So for nighttime it was very cold inside. We also had treeman come 8:30 am to chainsaw the tree in backyard. We just think someone should have been aware of that..But we enjoyed our stay there, the house and furniture was clean and nice, the location was good.
This cute vintage house has been nicely remodled. We liked the fenced in back yard and deck. Loved the spacious kitchen and sitting room. Very convenient to get to the beach by golf cart. Our only complaints were the mattresses. The master bedroom mattress was extremely hard, and the bedroom with the queen bed had a mattress that was high on the sides and dipped in the middle. My husband and I were continuously having to climb out of the dip in the middle that we would roll into. This gave no support for your back. We also saw some roaches in the property. One was even in one of the twin beds! If the property could get new mattresses and an exterminator, we would definitely rent it again!
We had a wonderful trip to St Simons Island. We were lucky to have found this house last minute for a reasonable price. The house is older home but nicely decorated and updated. It worked well for me, my husband and a friend. It didn’t have a lot of extra amenities that some other rentals seem to list but I knew that when I booked it and we enjoy the privacy of a house over a condo or townhome. The kitchen was well supplied though and it had the basic things we needed. It is very conveniently located to the beach, shopping, and plenty of restaurants. After exploring the whole island we spent most of our time a few blocks from the house at one of the many beach accesses to East Beach, which were a 2 minute drive in a golf cart. I would rent this house again if I ever return! Thanks for the wonderful experience!
Great location to shopping and restaurants, just a short walk away. The beds are so comfortable, even the pull out sofa. I would recommend renting a golf cart or bike if you want to visit a beach with sand. The closest beach is only accessible at low tide. House was clean on arrival and all appliances were in great condition. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a great time staying in this rental house. It had everything we needed and more. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed that it is walking distance to the village shops and the ocean. Reservation and checkout was quick and easy. I felt connected to Hodnett-Cooper through email or phone the entire stay. Also we left behind some valuable property at the rental. As soon as we let them know , they quickly recovered it for us. Very thankful! I would definitely recommend this property.
