Ocean Walk- Heated Pool Front Condo, with Tropical Views!

Oceanwalk Condos...beautiful surroundings within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Our condo is uniquely located on the heated pool, with gorgeous tropical views from the living room and patio. One bedroom with two full beds, pull out futon in living area and one full bath. Full kitchen includes microwave and dishwasher. Outside patio with table and four chairs overlooking the heated pool. Clubhouse nearby offers a fitness center, game room, and business center with wireless hi-speed internet.

Oceanwalk Condos are located in a serene setting with two pools, duck and fish ponds, playground, tennis courts, and clubhouse. If you want a change of pace take a walk down to the beach or pier about a 10 block walk. Large sidewalks make it easy to ride a bike. After a day at the beach you can stroll through the village for boutique shopping. The village also offers a large variety of restaurants with local flare. St. Simons Island and surrounding areas offer golfing, fishing, water sports, historic sites, shopping, great restaurants, and above all great people.

Unit is outdated

Wallpaper in bathroom from the 1970’s & gaps in theseams. Very old shower. Heat& air conditioning vent is rusted. sofa sagged in the middle and & very uncomfortable. No table & chairs, only 2 bar stools at the counter. Two beds in bedroom with a futon where the table Chairs should have been. Not sure how it can be advertised as sleeps 6. I was terribly disappointed.

We love this cozy condo!

This condo has everything you need and it is budget-friendly. The pool-front stay is great for the price and the condo is close to everything. We have stayed here twice and had a great stay both times.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time exploring Saint Simon Island. Condo was convenient to the pier. We went down to the pier area daily and visited other sites. Great place!

They need to have some instructions as to the television. The light in the refrigerator was out when we checked in and we replaced it ourselves. (not a problem)

Location good, Did not realize we had no washer or dryer. Really just good for 2 Adults, 1 of the Beds horrible. The cleaning could get under the futon and other places. But my 6 year old cleaned those for you. Kinda worried about the taped together facuet, but it worked. Loved the location.

Lovely condo..great location

Perfect location! Neat, clean and orderly. Not updated and modern, but I knew that going in and was perfectly fine with it. It was pleasant. Saw a roach, not uncommon in the area though. Didn’t seem to be from uncleanliness. Ran out of toilet paper…kind of a faux pas.

An Emergency booking

Exactly as the other reviews state. This was a last minute booking and we felt lucky to find another condo in OW as we were already there. However I would never book this unit again. Very old and outdated, all woodwork is in bad shape, no iron or ironing board and not even a spatula to use if we wanted to cook. The only clean feeling thing in the unit was the refrigerator. We met the owner, who is very nice, I just have a different idea of nice and clean.

Weekend visit

The location and property are fantastic. A short walk to the village and restaurants. The pools, playground, and lake on property were perfect. I would absolutely return to Ocean Walk on our next visit, but I likely would not book this unit again. The property manager did allow us to pay an extra fee to check in early/check out late- which was greatly appreciated. But it was difficult to get information about our stay, we didn't receive the unit number until we were already in the car driving there. It seemed we were lacking the most basic check in details and had to message several times. We rent a lot and typically receive an email with all the details, so this was a first where I had to ask where I was going. The unit itself is no frills, the complex as a whole is older, but many units have been updated. We had family staying in 4 other units so we got to see a couple for comparison (including in the same building)- ours was by far the most outdated. However, our unit was also the most affordable. Considering we didn't spend much time in the unit, it worked for our needs this time around. My biggest complaint about the unit is the smell- smells like it was smoked in for many years and it has seeped in to everything in there. The two couches are stained/well worn and the shag rug seemed like it hadn't been vacuumed. Overall you get what you pay for. If you want to save money and just have a homebase, book this unit. If you want a more cozy unit to spend time in, look for other units in the same complex (A10 is the same size/layout but updated!).
