Seaglass on St Thomas is a beautiful gem of a studio condo at Sapphire Village, perched just above the tranquil turquoise waters of Pillsbury Sound and Sapphire Beach. With beautiful St John Island providing gorgeous daytime vistas and twinkling night lights, and the hills of the other Virgin Islands dotting the skyline, the views from Seaglass are a living postcard for your Caribbean vacation.

Seaglass is located on the East End of St Thomas, which many consider the best location on the island. We agree. A brief walk down the hill leads you to gorgeous Sapphire Marina, where you can hop aboard one of our favorite charter boats for an unforgettable island-hopping adventure, or the Dive Shop where you can book a dive or snorkel tour, rent some water toys for the day or simply lounge on the soft sand of stunning Sapphire Beach.

Grab a bite or a drink at our poolside tiki bar or venture into the bustling village of Red Hook, where you’ll find some of the best restaurants, bars, shops and provisions in St Thomas. A $1 Safari Taxi ride will get you there if you don’t have a car.

Seaglass features some of the finest furnishings and comforts of any rental on St Thomas. No detail has been spared, allowing you to live in barefoot luxury in our home away from home.

Good for Couple Week Getaway

We were looking for a one bedroom, reasonably priced place near the beach. Was exactly what we were looking for. Convenient to Sapphire Beach (which was not overrun with tourists), restaurants, and the ferry. The unit is near the pool and Sudi’s (restaurant). Noise never an issue and view was great. Only issue was limited TV channel choices granted we were gone most of the time.

A perfect getaway

We loved our stay. The condo was the perfect size for the two of us and had everything we needed for our 5 day getaway. The view was amazing from our balcony and we loved being on Sapphire Beach. Sudi's is a fun little restaurant/bar on property, and we met the nicest people. We will definitely be back!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay. The room was perfect for us with a full kitchen. The view was incredible! Jennifer and Andre did a nice job with their visitor guide about where to go (or not go). We will definitely be back.

I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled up to the property and saw several pools and bars on site. My room had a beautiful view of the ocean, which I promptly woke up to each morning and went to the beach. Property had everything required for cooking, drinking, and cleaning.

The condo is a walkable distance from the beach, restaurants and a bar. It was really quiet at night. I enjoyed walking to the marina and watching the sunrise. It’s a 5 minute drive to Red Hook and to a grocery store. The owner provided all the information in advance. When I arrived I was able to get parking access and condo access with no problems. It is a wonderful studio condo and a perfect couples getaway.

Beautiful view, comfortable bed, property manager very helpful. Pillows weren’t very comfortable one of our only complaints. Other similar units we stayed in provided Tommy Bahama beach chairs and a cooler. These things would’ve been very nice to have. Keypad lock was finicky but figured it out. Had a great week staying here!

Absolutely wonderful!

My daughter and I had the most wonderful stay. It was beautiful beyond words. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The bed was super nice. We had to contact Andre when we first arrived and he answered and took care of us immediately. We ate at Sudi’s several times and I have to say they have the best shrimp tacos I have ever had. It was nice to have a restaurant so close that we could walk to it in a couple of minutes and not have to take a taxi somewhere. The snorkeling was amazing right out from the beach. We saw so many different fish, spotted eagle rays, turtles, and even squid. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back in the future.

Great Little Place!

This is our second time at Sapphire. This unit was in a decent spot! View of the marina and islands, right next to Sudi’s. Brief walk to the safari taxis, beach bars etc. The unit is renovated and was pretty clean. It had all of the kitchen things we needed to make breakfasts and pack our lunches. There were beach towels and beach chairs which was nice to have for the local beach. There was aloe in the fridge which was a lifesaver too!! We forgot it. Took off a star for not having a broom or vacuum and having to take our own trash out at the end of our stay. That place was SANDY after our week of beaching it and a broom would have changed everything. The only other downside is the $50 fee for leaving the trash. I’ve never had to take out trash at a rental. It was uphil to the stinky dumpster with our suitcases and it was a horrible way to leave your vacation rental.

Would Return

Great location of property in a complex of condos. This is at the top of the hill of the property where the older units appear to be but there was nothing “old” about the unit. Very clean, very comfortable and felt very safe. The unit is close to the pool and a 5 min walk to the beautiful beach. We brought the chairs down that come with the condo and stayed at the beach and beach bar all day. Bed was very comfortable! They only give you two towels (One for each guests ) for the shower so make sure they are dry for the next use or you are out of luck. Also, the bathroom light nor the kitchen light worked. We had to take the bedside lamp and plug it into the bathroom and put a flashlight outside of the shower when in use. Probably an easy fix but since we got there on a holiday weekend (Friday of Labor Day) the property manager said no one was available to come to the property. They were very apologetic and responsive when I messaged them about the issue and although it was a bit inconvenient, we didn’t let it put a damper on our stay. Overall great condo, would definitely recommend and even stay here again!!

PLUSES AND MINUSES

TV does not work and this is a major negative. Written Instructions would’ve been helpful as well as for other things you need to know. The woman next door explained what we needed to do when the power was out for hours.Door to the balcony is very hard to close and open--needs to be lubricated.The view is fantastic but the balcony does overlook a building and parking area.Good sized table on the balcony with two comfortable chairs which was good for eating meals and enjoying morning coffee.Very comfortable king size bed with six big fluffy pillows.Nice touches in the bathroom: soap/shampoo/conditioner. Fluffy towels and wash cloths. Walk-in marble shower is definitely a plus. Toilet seat tends to move -- needs some maintenance.Typical studio kitchen — tiny with very little counter space and only a two burner stove top, but adequate for preparing simple meals.Coffee maker is unusable - the lid to the water well does not close all the way.Be careful where you put things in the refrigerator because anything touching the back wall or in the bottom crisper drawers will freeze. Ice maker doesn’t function but there were 2 ice cube trays.The hospitality manager, Gloria, responded instantly to our text messages, and the housekeeping staff were personable and very helpful.Appreciated the beach towels but a cooler would've been nice.Overall what we expected despite the exaggerated descriptions on the website.Nonetheless we enjoyed our 2 weeks on beautiful St. Thomas.

Beautiful location

Upon 1st entering condo everything looked perfect. After being there for just a short time we noticed very tiny little bugs. They were on the kitchen counters and the dresser. They were there during our entire 7 day stay. Once we got settled we noticed the floor was sandy in areas. We had to put towels beside the bed to wipe our feet off before getting in bed. We never could figure out to use the tv with the 2 remotes ot came with. We were only able to watch Netflix. One big issue is the curtains that cover the door to the patio. They do not go all the way to the ends on either side and let ALOT of light in. We had to pull the storm door on the patio closed each night to help keep the light out. We had to call for more towels. We stayed a week and 2-3 towels wasnt gonna cut it. On a positive note, the AC worked fabulous and the view was spectacular. Sudi's bar and grill was an absolute plus. In the future you might want to add that the pool down the hill at Sapphire Condo's is OFF LIMITS. We did not know this, we thought all of that property was able to be used. We had a very very rude security gaurd kick us out of the pool at Sapphire Condos. Had we known we were not allowed to use these facilities we would not have. Sapphire Condo's gladly took our money at the bars and restaurants but absolutely were jerks about using the pool!
