Outstanding vacation

The property,room,staff all were fantastic. Our studio room was perfect and if we needed anything the staff helped us either supplying or helping us acquire it. The resort was beautiful and when we wanted to venture out there was a taxi ready to get us there.

AMAZING!

Tina was amazing. She had great communication from start to trip time and even wished you to have a good time. The view was gorgeous and perfect and when I say your view is the same as the pictures it is. I had an amazing time and will be rebooking a trip again through Tina.

Exceeded expectations

After reading some other reviews we arrived a bit skeptical, however once we pulled into the property we were thrilled with the choice we made! Fabulous pool next to a beach and ocean bay. On site food and drinks. Walking distance to larger beaches and other beach bars. Plenty of safe parking for our rental car. The pictures did not do the room justice. Clean, quiet with everything we needed. Covered patio just steps to the pool. Would definitely book again.

Mostly great with a few hiccups

I know seaweed can’t be controlled by the resort, it’s Mother Nature…but there could at least have been an attempt to clean it but there wasn’t an attempt the entire 6 days we were there and the smell was absolutely putrid around all the main areas of the property. The shower in our room leaked out the door because the flat step you step in to get in was slanted down and out to the bathroom floor so a couple towels were needed for every shower just to keep a pool of water from forming on the whole bathroom floor. The AC rattled during the night because one of the “fins” that direct the air was broken I guess.

Don’t stay here! Unusable Beach, terrible smell, outdated property!

Checkin takes a long time and you have to listen to the concierge give their sales pitch about attending a timeshare presentation. The VRBO listing advertises a poolside studio with the disclaimer that the unit will be assigned at checkin, but we didn’t get a poolside unit. We couldn’t even see the pool. The unit had definitely seen better days with rust on the fridge and dishwasher, stained patio cushions, an outdated uncomfortable loveseat instead of a couch with a chaise like the one shown in the VRBO listing. You also had to park your vehicle at a lot near the entrance to the property and then be shuttled to your unit on a golf cart (in which case a tip was expected for this unnecessary service). By the time you pay the $25/night environmental fee on top of the VRBO rental fees, and the required damage protection plan - it would’ve made more sense to rent somewhere else on the island for the week. Felt more like a motel on the beach with a nice pool than the high end vacation resort it is advertised to be. The beach is unusable - so littered with seaweed that they don’t even attempt to remove so you can’t even get in the water, and by leaving it piled up on the beach the smell of the seaweed is just terrible even if you’re trying to enjoy the pool, bar, or the restaurant. I suppose if you get drunk enough maybe you just don’t notice all this?
