"Nice clean hotel on a main road very close to the Chalet Cheese Chop - great place! Ask for Tony and see if he will yodel for you! Delightful. There arecalso multiple restaurants from fast to sit down, a Dunkin (yay) and other things nearby. Good place to stay if in the area or going to New Glarus. The woman at the desk was so nice to open up the conference center for us so we could play cards/games. There is not an elevator, so if evrn a couple rounds of stairs are difficult for you, ask for first floor. We appreciated the microwave and fridge, but wish we had a coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was just meh."

"Upon check-in, I informed the front desk staff that I was sorry in advance and that there was a baseball team coming to stay for the weekend. I was greeted with a less than warm response, saying they’re better not be any loud noise and she doesn’t want to deal with any complaints. The pool chlorine was so strong that we needed to prop the door open because the boys eyes were burning and again the front desk woman with was not very friendly. when we left for the day for baseball the housekeeping would not clean one of my beds because there was a towel on it. This is ridiculous. Not to mention the room smelled like weed. will not stay here again. There was one staff member who was extremely friendly but the woman with the dark hair was terrible. Clearly this tournament happens every year and the staff should be prepared and welcoming. Also the place had zero lighting. Could barely see down the hallways."

"We stayed over Memorial Day weekend for fishing and visiting family. Easy check in/out. Great communication from host. Cottage was very cozy, comfortable beds, plenty of firewood, variety of kitchen appliances for preparing meals, washer and dryer. Enjoyable sitting porch with lights. Fire pit area very enjoyable, love the swing. All around great stay for our trip. We would love to return this summer for another weekend! Thank you! The Heinlein Family"

"We arrived very late at night, and there was no one there to check us in, though we had been assured there would be. The breakfast was incredibly mediocre. Plastic silverware and Styrofoam plates. Microwaved food with very few options. Parking was good. "

"We stayed at the ranch for my husband and I’s elopement weekend. It was the perfect space for 14 adults and one toddler - the ‘apartment’ downstairs was perfect as a separate space for the little one. The space is gorgeous, we had catering one night and a private chef for the wedding and the kitchen was excellent for both. The views from the back porch and walks through the ranch properly cannot be beat. Hosts were lovely, communicative and helpful throughout. "

"We were allowed to check in early, which we appreciated; however, no one had rented the unit for weeks before us so even though it had been cleaned after the last guests we found dead stink bugs and beetle ladybugs on the couch, the carpet, the counter tops etc. The grill was not clean and the stovetop must have been wiped down with a dirty rag. When we raised concerns we were told that since we checked in 2 hours early proper cleaning was not complete, which makes no sense, no one was there cleaning the day we checked in! After we swept the kitchen and vacuumed the living room our stay was fine (the owner did offer to come and vacuum and clean the grill but we were on vacation so that would have been awkward)On the positive side, the bathroom downstairs was very clean but the jets in the tub are discolored so no. There were a lot of nice touches left for guests, soaps, wine, snacks, and plenty of firewood. The living room was very comfortable after we swept and vacuumed. We did ask for a refund of the cleaning fee which was refused, we did not ask for anything more than that so this isn't someone just looking for something for free, just an honest review"
