Cute and cozy!
My fiancé and I stayed at the house for one night during a trip to Shenandoah, and the location was very convenient and close to the park. We chose this rental because of the stream running by, and we loved having a fire down by the water. Overall the rental was exactly what we were looking for - cute, cozy, and a nice escape! Our one complaint is that the shower had a strong sulfur smell when running the hot water.

40th Anniversary
Beautiful property, well maintained and hospitably outfitted for guests. All that and the woodsy setting and sounds of the river made us want to stay longer.

Great stay
Overall great property- easy to get to with offline maps and very close to the places we wanted to see. The outside grill was easy to use and was lovely staying by the creek. the firepit was also easy to use too. Inside, the place felt very clean. In the kitchen, there even is an electric indoor grill if you do not want to cook outside. Temperature was comfortable. The only issue is when we checked some of the blankets, there was still some fur on it (from my guess, previous guests) so we did not use those blankets.

Never got to stay
We arrived at 230 pm. Had sent a message 3 hours before we got there. I was having a hard time finding the address. She responded quickly. Then she said if i have any more questions just let her. So i said yes how do we get in the house. I heard nothing we got to the house there is no cell reception. We looked everywhere and i had checked all over the verbo site for check in. I couldn't find anything. We kept going back in town to check messages and use the restroom. Nothing. Finally i called verbo hoping they could help. They tried reaching her for i know 30 min. After dealing with them for a while we told them we wanted th cancel. Tbry offered to book a hotel room but we knew a place a little bit away to go to. It was very difficult to gey them to cancel our booking. Finally they said the house owner has to agree to cancel. She did, amd she was very nice. Im not sure what eent wrong with check in and i wish she would have just responded we really wanted to stay there. But I am thankful we got our money back and still had a wonderful get away regardless of the frustration. We likely will never use VERBO again i think it must be for computer savy people.

Great family mountain getaway
Our family had the best time at this cabin. We had a few days off from school and wanted to enjoy the great weather and do some hiking. The house was bigger than I expected, great location, and very clean. Bonus was being able to bring our dogs. We are hoping to come back again in the spring and do some more trails nearby. Def check out the Glasshouse winery if you visit and Preddy Creek Trail.
