This was one of the most affordable properties we found in Zurich. The room we stayed in had one bed, a sofa couch, and kitchen. The space was exactly what we needed. The AC unit provided is one that uses a tube through a window, meaning you have to have the window open in order to use it. This wasn't a huge issue since it was a little chilly during our stay so we didn't have to use it the whole time. This building is near nightlife though, so just be mindful that if you do need to open a window you can hear everything going on down below. There is no lift, but this is specified in the listing and we did not have much of a problem. There is no self service laundry in the building or close by, so just be mindful of this. Very close to the train and Zurich is a walkable city. It was a good stay overall. Thank you

I appreciated the location of this hotel. It is in a more residential neighborhood setting, and not right in the city centre. You can either take the tram and reach the city in under 10 min, or, walk there in about 20-25 min. The walk is really nice and safe! There are restaurants, coffee shops and a little grocery shop right around the hotel. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room. Getting back to the airport on the tram is very easy, and even with lots of luggage, you can do it without having to walk, as the tram is located right outside the hotel, and the one transfer is also right where you get off. Friendly staff and safe area.

This hotel exceeded all expectations for a long weekend stay in Zurich. Great location in the old part of town, close to shopping, dining and sightseeing. Cleanliness and presentation was top notch and the staff were generally very friendly. I highly recommend the Scheuble hotel to any couples traveling to Zurich.
