Stayed here for 4 nights and it exceeded my expectations! The location was perfect and the room was very nice and updated! We stayed in the sunset tower so it was very convenient being right by the parking lot so it was easy in and out. Golden nugget formally planet hollywood isthe best choice among the 4 bigger casinos on the south shore. We have stayed at all of them. The room was good size , clean, and had a comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was small and the shower Its currently going through many renovations but the upgrades that they have made are great. They have added Bill's sports book and Maestros steak house. The hot water for showering was hit or miss

We arrived at Golden Nugget because we could not get through Hwy 50. Staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were so nice and helpful! Hotel is goinjg through renovations but did not hinder and of our stay.

The beds were very comfortable. They charge for early check in $28 which I did and was glad I did when I saw the long line to check in at check in time. Only2 people working, obviously that was not enough. No maid service pool was not open so do not know what they charge an amenities charge. Asked for coffee for our second morning and never received it.
