Stunning 1 Bedroom Apt. 8 Bus Minutes to Staten Island Ferry

Lovely self contained apartment with all needs catered for…

The apartment is reached by a small set of stairs. It is very clean, modern and tidy. It has all items of necessity for a stress free stay. Whilst there is no washing machine, there are plenty of launderettes in the neighbourhood and for most short stays, a washing machine is not necessary. The surrounding neighbourhood is safe with a lovely lake and walks close by. There is a great diner within walking distance and a grocery store. We walked to the Staten Island ferry which takes about 30 mins but there is easy public transport that can get you there in 10 mins. Ferry journey across to Manhattan is circa 25 mins and it takes you past the Statue of Liberty and is free for all passengers. New York is every bit as busy and noisy as you can expect so it was lovely to return to the apartment with peace reigning and a good nights sleep had. Michael is a fantastic host, very attentive and responds very promptly to any queries. We came over from the UK and will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Very highly recommended.
