Peaceful and serene.Located right next to Great Basin National Park.

"This is a fabulous choice for a place to stay when in Baker visiting the national park.It is literally down the road from the entrance, Up a private gravel road,the unit had everything we needed- plus extras! How usually to be given full size bathroom products, a nightlight, spices and olive oil, a huge canister of coffee, a candle, chocolate bars, paper towels, and even a bag of fresh ice! The bed was super comfortable and the hear/air conditioner were effective.Our host Sandee was very nice and the place was spotlessly cleaned on our arrival.We were glad to be assigned the “South Unit” because it was away from the main house and had lovely sun pouring through the windows, as well as a great view of the sunrise over the mountains."
Hidden Canyon Retreat

"This place is an actual hidden gem! I love the communication from the facility prior to my stay about the road and recommended arrive before dark, the road is a dirt road with some twisty switchbacks. The property is adorable. The room was huge, with all the cooking equipment you could want! Including a toaster oven, toaster and hot plate! There are pretty much no services in the nearby town of Baker, and they stated so in the information prior to arrival. I loved that they had so many food choices for purchase in the office. The girl who checked people in was extremely informative and courteous. Right before dusk, there were a dozen turkeys outside the room door! The room was impeccably clean and up to date. I loved having a reclining full size couch and a swivel tv."

"Very clean bathroom and clean, spacious room with king bed, sofa, dining table, and desk. Fully stocked kitchenette. We used the outdoor grill which was nice. Only downside was that the check-in instructions came later than I would have liked. But they did come in time for when I had cell phone service. The host was very accomodating and made sure we had everything we needed after we checked in. So close to national park. Highly recommend."
Huge house with Gorgeous views of The Great Basin National Park!

"Location was as close as you can get to Great Basin NP unless you were camping in the park. Host was very responsive to all our questions and needs. View from the porch was spectacular along with an awesome place to watch the night sky and stars. The property is very basic and no frills, but will meet your needs for visiting the Great Basin NP area."
