Pros: friendly staff; very clean, new building and rooms; comfortable mattress; very good breakfast; great location in entertainment district
Cons: small lobby was crowded at check-in; lobby bar seating interferes with check-in counters. shift change occurred at check-in time.
Hallways were gloomy and room decor minimalist. Deluxe room had king bed but was very small (but functional);
Huge breakfast room was very busy and noisy.
Conclusion: For a brief stay or business, the Riu would be great. If you want something more refined or romantic, consider another hotel.

The location is perfect to go anywhere around the downtown Toronto. Super convenient from the airport. Though, the room is quiet small as I expected but the cleanliness made me comfortable to sleep. Thank you for making our one night stay very convenient.
