"Fabulous accommodation, was travelling with family to attend wedding close by. Comfortable and clean, with everything you need for a stay. Lovely outdoor seating areas so you can enjoy the lovely garden and surrounding fields. Check in easy, with great instructions in how to find the property. Lovely location with easy access from the A9. Would definitely recommend."

"Die Unterkunft ist in einem sehr guten Zustand in einer ruhigen Lage am Ortsrand. Sie scheint erst vor 1-2 Jahren umgebaut worden zu sein. Die Bilder in dem Portal spiegeln daher das Haus sehr gut wider. Das Haus bietet sehr schöne, neue Bäder, gute Schlafzimmer und eine gut ausgestattete Küche.Der Blick auf den Fluß ist zwar nicht unmittelbar aus dem Haus oder aus dem Garten gegeben, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Man musste an den Rand des Geländes gehen, um dan 20m Unterhalb den sehr Eindruckvollen River Tay zu sehen. Hier könnte etwas mehr aus der Lage gemacht werden.Der Ort hat einen kleinen Spar Laden, in dem man alles tagtägliche bekommt. Entweder ist es ein kleiner Spaziergang 15mins zu Fuß oder kurz mit dem Wagen von der Unterkunft entfernt. Die Stanley Mill im Ort ist sehenswert genau wie eine Wanderung zu den Cargilll Barriers entlang des Flusses.Die Lage zwischen Dunkeld und Perth erlauben mit jeweils weniger als 10 Meilen, einen Ausflug in die Stadt oder in den sehr netten Ort Dunkeld und Wanderungen in dessen Umgebung. Auch für weitere Touren z.B. nach Stirling ist es eine gute Basis.Eine Anbindung per Bus nach Perth und Dunkeld eröffnet auch ohne den eigenen Wagen einen Ausflug in die Nachbarorte."

"This is an absolute gem of a cottage and a perfect location for travelling around Perthshire and beyond . Such a pretty sympathetically renovated 300 year old farm workers cottage all on the ground floor. The furnishings and fittings are high end and the lovely steel cupboarded kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need . There is a handy little utility room at the end of the cottage with a washing machine and bike store . Lovely wooden floors in the main living area and fabulous bathroom with high ceilinged velux window and walk in shower We stayed here for 2 weeks and had the most wonderful time touring and cycling (handy cycle routes provided by owner ) in glorious weather and wonderful views over the fields . Would love to come back one day!"

"First time staying in the cottage (we usually stay in the shepherds hut which is run by the same owner) and and it was better than expected, a great base for visiting Pitlochry, Perth, House of Bruar, and plenty of walking for dogs and an enclosed garden so dogs can wander about or use the field next to the cottage.. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a dishwasher, all bedrooms have tv’s and the beds are very comfortable and its really quiet at night so you’ll get a good sleep, the welcome pack was really good (even though we didn’t use it as we had brought a lot of our own stuff), the owner greets you on arrival and lets you know where everything is and is always available if there’s a problem. I would highly recommend the cottage for family get away."

"Situated in the most scenic location with a lovely outlook from every window. Ideal for exploring as close to major roads. I personally found the settee a bit hard and would have liked a few more things in the kitchen (measuring jug and basin to name a couple).As others have mentioned the outside space is paved so something to bear in mind if you have a dogNone of these things were enough to spoil our stay in anyway and the owner was very welcoming."
