"Every evening I ate in the hotel. I wanted to eat in the Wine Stuber but each time they pushed to the breakfast room I wanted to enjoy the ambience of the wine bar not sit alone in the breakfast area. I pushed back and they begrudgingly let me eat in the wine bar. Rest of the hotel stay was excellent."

"This was a great hotel for our family to stay at while visiting friends in the Steyr area. The front desk staff was polite and courteous, although their English was not as good as in some of the other more touristy areas of Austria. The breakfast available at the hotel was very good (although not included in the hotel booking, we were able to arrange this once on property). "We stayed at this Gasthof because we were visiting Linz and waited too long to book. I'm happy we discovered this location - the countryside is beautiful and the overnighting was convenient and comfortable. The breakfast was definitely the best part :) The room was clean and comfortable, no complaints about the service. We did notice a bit of commuter traffic on the weekday morning, but it was not bad. If you can ask for a room near the back, you might not notice at all. Again, no complaints....
