That they are clearly proud to work there is evident in their enthusiasm for telling us the history of the building and how perfectly located it is for seeing some of Florence's famous sites. They went the "extra mile" and even provided us with a delicious box breakfast since we had to leave very early in the morning. We will definitely recommend Il Guelfo Bianco to anyone looking for a place to stay in Florence!"

It's a kind of a self service hotel for the other stuff (i.e. no room service, no laundry service.. etc) but the staff at the front desk and bar are super friendly and fun! And hanging out by the bar feels just like home, plus it's open 24/7."
