"For a group of 8 or fewer, highly recommend! We loved our stay on this beautiful property! Secluded enough to relax, but just 10-15 mins from lots of activity. We spent so much time outside enjoying the view from the patio and the pool/hot tub. Our group of 9 guests was fine - however a note for other guests: the "sleeps 14" in the listing is a bit of a stretch - the full size bunk beds have a 160lb limit for each level, but 14 seems to count a double occupancy for each level excluding the use of futons. "

"The house was beautiful with great views and we loved the location. However, we were very disturbed by the conditions of the chicken coop on the property. There was a dead hen and the two living chickens did not have food in their bowls and were out of water with their water source disconnected. Luckily we were able to feed them as there was chicken feed and water on the property. One of the rooms had dirty sheets with hair and dead bugs on them and the hot tub heating took 8 hours to warm up. The host was responsive but we want to ensure these chickens are being taken care of and rehomed if needed!"

"It was a nice cozy space in the peaceful countryside to hang out for a rainy weekend of wine tasting. Would definitely come back in the summer to enjoy the pool and views."

"We were delighted with our stay at Solitude I - we had two couples, and two elderly moms with us, so finding a ranch-style home was important. The house was clean, and the two living room setup was fantastic - some folks would migrate to the TV room, and others would stay in the cosy living room with a book and the fireplace.The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the views were peaceful.For those looking for a place with disability accommodations, the master bathroom has a low-threshold shower; however, the only grab bar is at the back of the shower, making it out of reach when entering or exiting the shower.We will absolutely consider renting this home again - very nice!"
