Dawn is a wonderful host very caring about the renters and their pets. The Wi-Fi was great. She gave us a dozen of eggs and a half a dozen of cookies we couldn’t have asked for a better place. It was clean. I’ve never rented a place that clean before I highly recommend anybody to rent from Dawn, upon arrival we met Dawns son and husband and their lab Sasha. She just wanted to play and when my little poodle mix barked at her, she backed up and ran away. It was so fun.

Wonderfully Peaceful

Pack up in Stillwater

This is not the first time we have stayed at this location. We really enjoy the hospitality and simplicity of the property. Next time we are in Stillwater we will book again.

Visiting Our Son at OSU

A quaint cottage set in the country out side of Stillwater. Rabbits and deer in the morning and early evening and very quiet. A great place!!

Quaint little cottage

Out of town where it’s so peaceful and quiet! A cute little cottage filled with antiques, it’s just the right size for us and our teenage son. We enjoyed seeing the goats and chickens, and the dogs were friendly but not a nuisance. The host was very easy to communicate with, especially after we realized we left a bag!

Most peaceful cottage ever

This cottage was simply perfect. We felt right at home. Easy self check-in, super clean and hospitable, thoughtful, nonintrusive hosts. We arrived to fresh, homemade cookies and goat milk soap. We had everything we needed including a smile-inducing, super sweet, well-behaved dog that only came over when my kid beckoned him. Bed was comfy, shower huge and luxurious. The only things I could hear at night were crickets and owls. One of the first vacations I actually left feeling rested and relaxed. Will definitely be back!

Feels like a visit to MeeMaw’s House

This house is on the far north side of town off a gravel road in the country. It’s very quiet and peaceful! It’s located near two other houses that have goats, roosters and a couple friendly dogs. While it felt clean, it was really hard to know since it is FULL of antique furniture, vintage decor, and it’s clearly an older cottage. If you like feeling like you’re at your MeeMaw’s house out in the country this is the perfect place! Communication with the host was easy and fast, check in/out was simple and our stay was uneventful.

Quiet cozy little cottage

Loved the country setting of the property. The cottage was very cute and cozy with a comfortable bed and pillows! Stayed with a friend for a concert and had no problem getting an uber from the cottage. Dawnette was very easy to communicate with and very quick to respond! I have to give praise to Dawnette we were in town for the CCR concert and all the hotels and vacation rentals were price gouging and she did not do that with her property. There are good people in the world still!! Highly recommend staying her if you are in town visiting!!

My wife and were driving across country with our 2 little dogs and decided that Stillwater would make a good mid-trip stop. This cottage turned out to be the perfect stop for us. It has patio that’s perfect for hanging outside with the dogs and watching the moon and stars. The cottage has for more space than we expected. The kitchen and living room are a common area. The bedroom and bathroom are separate rooms and give plenty of space in the house. The house is very clean. Our host, D, was very quick to respond and communicated all information needed to get to and stay at the house. We only stayed one night and we didn’t cook but the kitchen is fully stocked and there is a grill to use also. D had even left us some fresh eggs to cook and homemade cookies. The price was very reasonable. If I had to stay in Stillwater for short stay, this would be a great home base. Wife and I really enjoyed our overnight stay and we would absolutely stay again.

This was a great place for us to stay. It’s perfect for a couple, maybe a small family too. The host was very friendly and communication was great. The house was very clean and it was easy to find what we needed. If we are in this town again, I will definitely book this place!

Excellent option when visiting Stillwater. Easy drive to campus. Cottage is clean & comfortable with good amenities. Main road to cottage is low maintenance so be sure to take it slow.

What a charming little cottage!!!! The hosts were very responsive in communicating before and during our stay. The cottage is out of town in a quiet setting but it is close enough to the lake and town to enjoy whatever you want to enjoy. We will stay again the chance arises.
