Impressive, five-bedroom Lochside House set in a stunning, tranquil setting beside Loch Katrine in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Sit back and enjoy the magnificent views from the grand, spacious living room. All bedrooms apart from one have a view over the loch. Two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and there is one general bathroom with toilet, washbasin and walk-in shower, recently refurbished.

Lochside House is perfect for larger family gatherings and quiet, outdoorsy holidays. No parties, hen or stag weekends are allowed in this property. The property you see on the photo is split, and if you book Lochside House you are booking the right-hand side of the building. It is completely self-contained and is not shared with other guests. There is also an option to book Lochside Apartment (ref UK41232, three bedrooms, sleeps six) with access through a door between the two properties, which will otherwise be locked.

A stone’s throw from the property is the Stronachlachar Pier, called in at daily by a small passenger boat from the Trossachs Pier. Our guests enjoy strolling around to the Pier Café – a lovely wee coffee shop that serves light meals and tray bakes, with the most amazing conservatory where you can sit and enjoy a coffee, and again admire the views. The area is one of serene natural beauty, and is ideal if you love to paint, paddleboard or hike, whatever age you are. The nearest town is Aberfoyle, reached in under 30 minutes, where you will find local shops, a supermarket and a nice selection of bars and restaurants. Just outside town is a Go Ape outdoor activity centre.
