Stockholm is built on14 islands in Lake Mälaren, the third largest lake in Sweden,giving it a similar look to the canal cut city of Venice in Italy. Visit thecapital of the country, which dates from the 13th century, and discover artgalleries, historical museums, palaces and public parks.
