The room was clean but bathroom small and low grade feel. The room had a chemical cleaning smell. It was also in an odd area—almost an industrial work park area. Indoor food area small and closes early as well as bar. Food was ok. Not thrilled with the stay.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, and some of the newer rooms are much more comfortable than the older ones. However, the price is higher than what the overall experience justifies. The common areas could be better maintained, particularly the hot tub, which was not as clean as expected. The service was average and did not consistently meet the standards one would expect at this price point.

This property is in a great area of San Diego/Gadlamp. Great for families or if you are traveling as a couple and/or alone. Young adults would have a ball with so many bars and music going on in the area. The pool bar / 5 o'clock Somewhere is a hit. Brett and Travis are great and it was a lit of fun. The pool was very clean with pool chairs , tables, and music. The room was clean and very comfortable. My partner and I took the amtrak train to San Diego and didn't need to park. However, hotel has parking and bikes that you can rent/borrow. The first 2 hrs are free. If you stay at this hotel make sure to have breakfast at least one day at the Gaslamp Breakfast Cia across the street. It is delicious. After 10 pm you can get something to eat at the Melt. Go have fun and fin up!!!
