"We had an unexpected layover in Venlo and stayed here 1 night. It is a beautiful, quiet property nestled in a forest area. The staff was accommodating and the room was very nice. It was not walking distance to Venlo or the train station but the taxi ride was inexpensive. "This place is an aging hotel that needs the rooms to be renovated but I think the lower prices reflect that.. My room had a small bit of wallpaper coming loose and the shower head was badly located but other than that it was just dated. It was clean and spacious with a good view of the courtyard.. Plenty of parking on a hard stand surface (not gravel) so I deal for my motorcycle.. we had a good continental breakfast included in the very reasonable tariff.. Overall I would highly recommend this...
