Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Dorn Rock View is a lovely little ground floor apartment and is particularly well located in an elevated position in Portpatrick with views over the Harbour. Dorn Rock View is comfortably furnished with a good sized open plan living/dining/kitchen and is a bright room with large bay window to the front therefore making the most of the views.
From Dorn Rock View take a stroll down to the Harbour, which offers a lively calendar of events such as lifeboat week, the folk festival and live entertainment provided by some of the hotels and restaurants situated around the harbour. Portpatrick is the ’Gateway to the Southern Upland Way’, a 212 mile coast to coast walk from Portpatrick to Cockburnspath in the east. Join the route on the cliffs above the harbour and walk along the coast enjoying the beautiful views over the sea to Ireland. With several golf courses close by together with tennis courts, bowling and putting greens a stay at Dorn Rock View will keep you entertained.
For those wanting to venture further afield this beautiful area will certainly have something for all ages from historical sites, beautiful gardens, castles, stunning cycle routes and some challenging mountain biking and of course a must is a trip to the Mull of Galloway, Scotland’s most southerly point! Beach 1 mile.
