Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Lovely large, clean room with a huge bed. Great toiletries. Very quiet too, even though the hotel seemed busy. Ample onsite parking, although not cheap. There was free street parking mentioned on the site but this didn't seem to exist! Staff were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely stay again.
I like that I was close to public transport (Tram at Lycée Kléber) to get to and from the Christmas Markets (of which there were 5!). I always enjoy the free breakfast and the amenities (hygiene products and the carafe for water). It was a bonus to have dinner there too, but one of the dinner menu dishes was not to my liking. The kind waitress didn’t charge me for it since I took one bite!
The room was clean and otherwise ok, but the hotel overall is dated and in a big need of a renevation. Hallways etc. were in bad condition. Breakfast was nice and service good.

Staff not very attentive to the customer (for example, I asked for a reducer and had to go down to reception to get it, at the time of check-in and check-out the clerk went away to do something else/answered phone calls instead of dealing with me directly), defects in the furniture (wood chips on the bathroom door and on the bathroom cabinet), empty fridge, lack of power outlet for the hairdryer in the bathroom, etc.
A great hotel, just outside of the city of Strasbourg, but easily accessible by tram or bus.
We were there for one night, as a stop-over, on our inter-railing holiday.
Quiet hotel. Good food in the hotel restaurant (big portions too).
All the staff were very friendly and professional.
I would recommend this hotel.
This Hilton has seen better days. Wear and tear here and there clearly visible. Restaurant dining without any ambiente. Bar should stay open till midnight. There was a day when it closed at 10pm.Breakfast options barely average. Very limited options for cold cuts and cheeses, hallmarks for French cuisine. No sliced bread other than toast.
Staff was exceptionally helpful getting the personalized Crit'Air vignette which is mandatory for cars in Strasbourg and a few other cities in France and requires a complicated online application.
I recommend that you choose another hotel. Service was terrible. Breakfast so sad. For a 4 star hotel I would expect so much better breakfast. The best I can say is that the beds were comfortable. We had such a great stay in Hilton Praque last year. So this was so dissapointing.

Good hotel but location isn’t
Hilton was OK. the location was not good, unless you go for the conference center. To travel to city, you need to take tram and it’s 6-7 mins walk to the nearest station. Value for money is very poor, perhaps because we visit during peak season (Xmas market in Strasbourg). Room is spacious. Bedding was top quality. Breakfast was good.

I didn’t find the staff to be very helpful. In fact, we had to move our rental car several times because we weren’t given good directions for parking.
Property was under construction and the entry area was pretty awful. Staff in the bar and restaurant were wonderful. Room attendant was great! reserved this hotel specifically because it was across the street from our meeting venue; however, because of a fair on the grounds, we had to walk about half a mile out of our way to get into the convention center. might have been funny if it wasn’t raining so much!. Also, they charged exorbitant prices during this convention!!
The hairdryer was extremely sticky, and the toilet had a strong smell of urine. The room itself was very basic, offering the bare minimum. Although we paid for breakfast, it was served in a small room with limited options, and many items were frequently unavailable. We do appreciate the effort of the staff working during the holiday season. However, it seems that Hilton’s 4-star standard no longer guarantees the quality one might expect.

unfortunately that's our experience
Didn't like the place that much, the stuff ask us to pay for water at the restaurant, allao there's no free parking and the breakfast was poor and expensive.
The room was clean but the air conditioning didn't work!! We ask about it in the morning at the front desk and they told us that there is no air conditioning at the moment, we said that it's not right and also told them its not right that they charged us for a bottle of water.
The last thing was that after a few days, we noticed a charge that they didnt told us about it and didnt give a receipt at the checkout, they just charged the credit card from our deposit.
Unfortunately we didn't like these place so much, and not planning to come back in the future
Positive- the Europe Suite was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The incredibly disappointing element was the lack of coffee in both the executive area and breakfast area. There were seven people in line for the one coffee machine in the breakfast area! This is not adequate for a hotel if this size. Furthermore, staples such as wheat toast were not replenished. We went into the executive area to get coffee only to find that machine was broken. For the weekend, the coffee makers were regularly out of beans, broken, or over crowded. This is not acceptable in France, at a Hilton, and for the price paid.
